Co-Director Tayo Bailey-Duvall
Tayo Bailey, a former all-conference player for the Bulldogs, was hired as head women's tennis coach at Butler University in June 2012. Bailey returned to her alma mater after professional coaching stints in Chicago and Miami.View Tayo Bailey's Bio ⟩
Bailey-Duvall became the 11th head coach in Middle Tennessee women's tennis history following her six year tenure at Butler. During her time as the leader of the Bulldogs, Bailey-Duvall's team won a Big East Tournament match in four of her five seasons. Additionally, the tennis program earned NCAA Public Recognition Awards every year of Bailey-Duvall's time as head coach, which honors teams for ranking in the top 10% of their sport based on their multiyear Academic Progress Rates.
As a player, Bailey-Duvall was a three-time first team All-Conference tennis honoree for Butler. She boasted a 74-46 all-time singles record and led the Bulldogs to three appearances in the Horizon League tournament final before graduating in 2006 with a degree in biology.
After her graduation, Bailey-Duvall was hired as a women's tennis assistant coach for two seasons at her alma mater. Butler advanced to the Horizon League championship match in both seasons she was on staff. Following her first tenure at Butler, Bailey-Duvall played tennis professionally at the Goldfine-Smatt International Tennis Academy in Hallandale Beach, Fla, before returning as the Head Coach at Butler in 2012.
Our other camp staff will include certified USPTA pros, college coaches, Division I college players, and experts from the Universities Exercise Science department.
