Welcome to the Nike Tennis Camp at Westchester Tennis Center in Port Chester, NY! Led by teaching professionals Nesar Nayak and Sasha Bluestone, your camper will engage in learning the sport of tennis while refining their point play abilities. We prioritize individual skill development and the importance of sportsmanship and teamwork while fostering a positive competitive atmosphere.
Our morning session welcomes juniors of any and all skill levels, ages 6 - 17 years old. Competitive juniors with a UTR rating of 3.5 or higher should join our afternoon High-Performance session. Both sessions are designed for players to improve their tennis game, work hard and play harder!

Director of High Performance Camp Nesar Nayak
Nesar is committed to maintaining and developing the programs at WTC for all ages and levels. He is a seasoned leader with a wealth of experience in a commercial tennis setting. Before joining the WTC Team, Nesar was the Director of Tennis at Grand Slam Tennis Club in Bedford, NY. Nesar was instrumental in integrating new programs, empowering a dynamic high-performance junior program, pulling together an expert team of teaching professionals, and enhancing the overall player experience at the club. As a junior player, Nesar trained at the Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy and went on to compete in India and the United States at section, national, and ITF levels.

Director of All Skills Camp Sasha Bluestone
Sasha Bluestone- Grew up in the Boston area and played for the University of Massachusetts-Amherst Men’s team. Sasha is a junior development specialist and works with USTA Player Development as a Faculty coach and mentors' coaches at USTA camps. Sasha has been coaching for over 30 years. He spent 13 years at the Natick Racquet Club and 8 years with the New England Academy of Tennis. This program developed Sectionally, and Nationally Ranked Juniors, preparing them for Collegiate Tennis. In 2007 they were one of the first programs in thecountry to start using red, orange, and green balls. When Sasha started to work in NY, he partnered with the USTA Eastern section spent time on the Competition Committee, was the Chair of the 10 and under committee, and helped to lead many successful Zonal and Intersectional Teams.

CAMP PROGRAMS
We will be offering a morning session from 9:00am-12:00pm for players of all abilities and an afternoon session from 1:00pm-4:00pm for High Performance level players. There will be a 1 hour evaluation session after check-in. Adjustments are made as needed throughout the week.
- All Skills Program: The All Skills program is designed for tennis players of any skill level and background ages 6-17. Campers will learn fundamentals and improve upon their game. Campers will be sorted based on ability and age.
- High Performance: The High Performance training program is geared towards tournament-level and sectionally ranked players looking to improve their tournament results, learn winning strategies, and work on mental toughness. Campers will be sorted based on ability.

MEALS
Lunch is not provided. All Skills campers will be departing before lunch at 12:00pm and High Performance Campers will arrive after lunch at 1:00pm. Campers are encouraged to bring water and snacks if needed.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
- Instruction: 3 hours of daily tennis training, morning and afternoon sessions
- Supervision: Staff members participate in all activities
- Camp T-shirt: All campers receive a Nike Tennis Camps t-shirt
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY
- Ratio: 6:1 camper-to-coach ratio
- Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience. There will be 1 hour evaluation on the first day of camp after check-in. From there, we will separate players based on ability first, followed by age if necessary. Adjustments can be made during camp.
- Equipment Needed: All campers must bring a tennis racquet, tennis shoes, and a water bottle.
- Facility: WTC has a total of 12 indoor tennis courts; 8 Har-Tru and 4 Hardcourts. (Plus 4 Pickleball courts!) We also have an updated Fitness Facility!
- Inclement Weather Plan: In the event that the club has to close for inclement weather, players will be offered a camp makeup credit to be scheduled at their convenience during the summer. We are an indoor facility, so cancellations are rare!
- Medical Protocol: Directors are CPR certified. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
