Get ready for an amazing experience at the Nike Girls Track & Field Camp in Dallas-Fort Worth (formerly You Throw Girl), hosted by Michelle Carter at the Athletic Performance Ranch in Fort Worth, Texas.
Created by Michelle Carter, 2016 Olympic Gold Medalist and former American Record Holder in the Women's Shot Put, the Nike Track & Field Camp in Dallas-Fort Worth is for female track & field athletes, from 8th-12th grade (including graduating seniors).
At these unique, hands-on camps, young athletes will be empowered to thrive while living a healthy lifestyle full of confidence, not just in their athletic capabilities, but also who they are as young ladies.
Michelle is joined by coaches, professional athletes, and fellow Olympians to encourage them to love their bodies, value their thoughts and respect themselves because we all were created to do something great!
Nike Track & Field Camps have action-packed days of training, fundamentals, and lasting friendships this summer. Campers’ opportunities to improve their fitness and skill set will be emphasized each day by top-notch coaching from Michelle Carter and her coaching staff. Your athletes will walk away with lessons that can be utilized on and off the track.

Director Michelle Carter
Michelle Carter reached her life’s goal in 2016 by winning gold in the Rio Olympic Games. Beginning her throwing career in 1997 while in junior high school, Michelle is a three-time Olympian as well as a World Championship gold medalist. She has excelled at the national and international levels for 20+ years.

- Dates:
- Day Campers: July 16-19, 2025 (Wed-Sat)
- Overnight Campers: July 15-20, 2025 (Tues-Sun)
- Age Group: 13-18 (8th-12th graders, 2024 graduates are eligible)
- Gender: Girls Only
- Camp Type: Overnight and Day (8:00AM-5:30PM)
- Overnight Check-in: Tuesday, July 15, 5:00PM
- Day Check-in: Wednesday, July 16, 8:00am
- Check-out:
- Day Campers: 5:30pm
- Overnight Campers: Sunday, July 20, 10:00am
- Meals: All meals are provided at the on-campus dining facility.
All Campers should arrive at camp, prepared to participate on the 1st day of camp.

HOUSING

- Roommates: Rooms are assigned by age & roommate requests. Roommate requests must be received no later than 14 days before the start of camp. If you don't have a roommate request, you will be placed in a room with someone near your age. It will be a great opportunity to meet someone new!

INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY
- Ratio: 1:10 staff to camper ratio
- Grouped by: age and ability
- Evaluation: by coaching staff
- Equipment: Campers should bring at least two pairs of broken in running/event shoes. Please be sure to properly mark your equipment, so that it can be easily identified.

TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.
MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
CAMP TUITION PAYMENTS
Full payment of camp fees must be completed by the first day of the month before camp. For example:
- June Camps: final payment is due on May 1
- July Camps: final payment is due on June 1
- August Camps: final payment is due on July 1
Any camper with an unpaid balance 10 days before the start of their camp will forfeit all camp fees paid to date and be removed from the camp.
Your confirmation email shows your balance due and balance due date. Final payments can be made through the US Sports Camps Customer Portal or by phone at 1-800-645-3226.

Camp Questions & Answers
Does the Health & Release Form need to be signed by a doctor?
Our Health & Release Form does not require a doctor’s signature. This online form is required to be filled out accurately, signed by the parent (guardian), and completed before your first day of camp.
Can I come to camp alone or do I have to be a member of a team?
We welcome individual campers and teams. If you come to camp by yourself, we place you in a dorm room with another single camper, similar in age. It's a great place to meet new friends who share your enthusiasm for the sport and to have FUN!
Are the campers supervised throughout the camp?
Yes, campers are supervised by the coaches and staff. Staff members reside in the same dorms as the campers and provide supervision during instruction, dining times, evening activities, and in the dorm.
All staff members complete criminal and sex offender background checks before working the camp.
