ADDITIONAL CAMP FEATURES

  • Warm-Up: We kick off the every camp with a dynamic warm-up session to get those muscles firing and ready for action. Think of it as a fun and energetic routine that includes jogging, dynamic stretches, and agility drills. This not only helps prevent injuries but also primes our young athletes for the exciting day ahead.
  • Speed Drills: Our speed drills focus on improving acceleration, top-end speed, and agility. From explosive starts to lightning-fast sprints, we challenge kids with a variety of engaging drills designed to push their limits and unleash their full speed potential.
  • Break and Hydration: We understand the importance of staying fueled and hydrated, so we take regular breaks to refuel and recharge. Our campers have the opportunity to hydrate, snack on nutritious treats, and mingle, fostering camaraderie and teamwork.
  • Assessment: Begin by assessing the athlete's current speed, agility, and overall athleticism. This could include timed sprints, agility tests, and movement analysis to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Technical Training: Delve into the nitty-gritty of sprinting technique. We break down the fundamentals of proper form, arm drive, foot placement, and more. Through interactive demonstrations and hands-on practice, kids will sharpen their skills and work on mastering the art of sprinting.
  • Endurance Building: During this session, we focus on building endurance through interval training, tempo runs, and endurance-focused drills. This helps our athletes maintain their speed over longer distances while building resilience and mental toughness required to be a good sprinter.
  • Cool Down and Stretch: As the day winds down, we ease into a relaxing cool-down session. We guide our campers through gentle stretches and mobility exercises to aid in muscle recovery and prevent soreness. It's the perfect way to unwind and reflect on the day's achievements.
  • Fun Activities and Games: Of course, it's not all about serious training! Throughout the day, we sprinkle in fun activities and games to keep the energy high and the smiles wide. Whether it's relay races, obstacle courses, or team-building challenges, there's never a dull moment at our speed camp.
