Get ready for an amazing experience at the Nike Track & Field Camp at Macalester College. Nike Track & Field Camps have action-packed days of training, fundamentals, and lasting friendships this summer. Campers’ opportunities to improve their fitness and skill set will be emphasized each day by top-notch coaching from Tashina Steggall and her coaching staff. Your athletes will walk away with lessons that can be utilized on and off the track.
The Nike Track & Field Camp at Macalester College offers runners from 7th - 12th grade the opportunity to learn and develop as a more competitive sprinter, hurdler, or jumper!
Hosted in Saint Paul, MN, you will have the opportunity to learn from elite sprints, hurdles, and jumps coaches from the staff at Macalester College.

Director Tashina Steggall
Tashina Steggall joined the Macalester track & field coaching staff as Associate Head Coach in November of 2021. Steggall, who coaches sprinters, hurdlers and jumpers at Macalester, spent four years at Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa, and was the Rams’ head track & field coach from 2019-21.View Tashina's Bio ⟩
Coach Jourdan Doffeny
Jourdan Doffeny is as an assistant coach at Northern Illinois University from 2021- Present. Doffeny returned to her alma mater and produced multiple NCAA West Preliminary qualifiers after two seasons at Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia, KY.Doffeny began her coaching career as an assistant coach at Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo, Iowa during the 2017-18 school year, where she helped produce multiple NJCAA Indoor and Outdoor National Championship qualifiers in the jumps and hurdles. The following year, Doffeny worked assistant coach at Concordia University Irvine (Calif.) before moving to Lindsey Wilson at the start of the 2019-20 campaign.View Jourdan's Bio ⟩
Coach Joslyn Drew
Joslyn Drew was a part of the Concordia track and field coaching staff as the Director of Operations and a Jumps coach. She was on the staff from the fall of 2015 up to May 2022. While at CUI, she coached multiple PacWest Champions and top 8 conference finishers in the men’s and women’s long, triple, and high jump. Drew also coached women at NCAA DII indoor and outdoor championships for the long jump.View Joslyn's Bio ⟩

INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY
- Ratio: 1:10
- Grouped by: age, ability, and experience
- Equipment needed: Campers should bring at least two pairs of broken in running shoes. Racing flats/spikes are optional. Please be sure to properly mark your equipment, so that it can be easily identified.
- Facility: Macalester Stadium

Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.
- Extra Athletic clothing
- 1-2 pairs of broken in running shoes/ event spikes
- Water bottle
- Packed snack/lunch
- Small gym bag/backpack
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

Camp Questions & Answers
Does the Health & Release Form need to be signed by a doctor?
Our Health & Release Form does not require a doctor’s signature. This online form is required to be filled out accurately, signed by the parent (guardian), and completed before your first day of camp.
Can I come to camp alone or do I have to be a member of a team?
We welcome individual campers and teams. If you come to camp by yourself, we place you in a dorm room with another single camper, similar in age. It's a great place to meet new friends who share your enthusiasm for the sport and to have FUN!
Are the campers supervised throughout the camp?
Yes, campers are supervised by the coaches and staff. Staff members reside in the same dorms as the campers and provide supervision during instruction, dining times, evening activities, and in the dorm.
All staff members complete criminal and sex offender background checks before working the camp.
