Coach Hardin has been playing volleyball since middle school. She went to Columbia College in Columbia, SC where she was recruited as an “All-around player” but secured the role of Libero her sophomore year. Her junior year she was selected to the All-Conference AAC team. Her senior year she was selected to the All-Conference AAC team as well as AAC Libero of the Year. Coach Hardin still holds the Columbia College record for most digs in a single season (586).

After graduating college, she moved back home to her Alma Mater. She took over North Myrtle Beach’s volleyball program (3 years) where her team secured region championships in 3 straight years, and was State Runner Up. She also was a 15s National coach for Grand Strand Juniors Club.

Coach Hardin had a vision for youth in volleyball. She started a youth program in North Myrtle Beach that grew the love of volleyball in young kids all over the area. Several of those kids who opened up her youth program have gone on to play for State Championships as well as playing volleyball at the next level. It begins with youth!

Coach Hardin then had to take a coaching break to be a mom to 3 beautiful girls, but always found herself in gyms helping with volleyball in some capacity. Stepping back into the gym coaching for FCA Midlands in 2022 (16s) really brought volleyball joy back into her life. She served as the head volleyball coach for Beechwood Middle School for the 2023 season. She was named the Varsity Volleyball Coach at Lexington High School in July 2024
