Camp schedules and details are subject to change. If important updates occur before camp begins, we’ll notify registered campers by email and update this webpage. Campers may be grouped by age, skill, or experience at the Director’s discretion.

JULY 20: SERVING & PASSING

• Open To: Girls, ages 10-18 & boys, ages 10-14
• Skill Levels:
  • Beginner: Recommended for girls ages 10-15, and boys ages 10-14 with 0-1 year of experience
  • Intermediate: Recommended for girls ages 11-15, and boys ages 11-14 with at least 1-3 years of playing experience or 1+ year of club experience
  • Advanced: Recommended for players, ages 14-18, with 2+ years of competitive playing experience, consistently served overhand, understand rotations, and have a primary position
• Daily Hours: 9:00am-12:00pm
• Check-in: 8:15am
• Lunch: The Box requires all campers to purchase lunch on-site. A link to purchase lunch will be provided soon. Outside food is not permitted. Campers with food allergies will be accommodated.
• Program: Designed to focus on techniques for serving and passing the volleyball. Learn how to be confident on the court and aggressive from behind the line! This program welcomes beginner to intermediate players and will focus on various techniques to improve consistency with passing and find the best serve that fits your game. Campers will learn and improve through drill work, challenging games, demonstrations, and maximum repetitions.

*Nets will be set up at women's regulation height

JULY 20: SETTING OR HITTING

• Open To: Girls, ages 10-18 & boys, ages 10-14
• Skill Levels:
  • Beginner: Recommended for girls ages 10-15, and boys ages 10-14 with 0-1 year of experience
  • Intermediate: Recommended for girls ages 11-15, and boys ages 11-14 with at least 1-3 years of playing experience or 1+ year of club experience
  • Advanced: Recommended for players, ages 14-18, with 2+ years of competitive playing experience, consistently served overhand, understand rotations, and have a primary position
• Daily Hours: 1:30pm-4:00pm
• Check-in: 1:00pm

• Programs:
  • Setting: Designed to focus solely on techniques for setting the volleyball. Learn how to be confident on the court! This program is open to players of all abilities and will focus on the various techniques and improve consistency. Campers will learn and improve through drill work, challenging games, demonstrations, and maximum repetitions
  • Hitting: Designed to focus solely on techniques for attacking the volleyball. Learn how to be confident on the court! JULY 21-23: ALL SKILLS

• Open To: Girls, ages 10-15 & boys, ages 10-14
• Skill Levels:
  • Beginner: Recommended for girls ages 10-15, and boys ages 10-14 with 0-1 year of experience
  • Intermediate: Recommended for girls ages 11-15, and boys ages 11-14 with at least 1-3 years of playing experience or 1+ year of club experience
• Daily Hours: Day 1-2: 9:00am-6:00pm, Day 3: 9:00am-4:00pm
• Check-in: 8:15 am on Day 1
• Lunch: The Box requires all campers to purchase lunch on-site. A link to purchase lunch will be provided soon. Outside food is not permitted. Campers with food allergies will be accommodated.
• Program: Geared toward beginner and intermediate players. Campers will be taught the skills for all positions, with exposure to volleyball systems, rotations, and competitions. Our athletes undergo skill testing and are placed on courts with other campers at their same physical and skill abilities to create success and confidence for each athlete. All campers will be taught the same skills and concepts.

JULY 21-23: HS PREP/ADVANCED

• Open To: Girls, ages 14-18
• Skill Levels:
  
  • Advanced: Recommended for girls, ages 14-18, with 2+ years of competitive playing experience, consistently served overhand, understand rotations, and have a primary position
• Daily Hours: Day 1-2: 9:00am-6:00pm, Day 3: 9:00am-4:00pm
• Check-in: 8:15am on Day 1
• Lunch: The Box requires all campers to purchase lunch on-site. A link to purchase lunch will be provided soon. Outside food is not permitted. Campers with food allergies will be accommodated.
• Program: Geared towards high school and club level players, ages 14-18 entering into grades 9-12, with 2 or more years of competitive experience. All athletes MUST have a minimum of 2 years of playing experience outside of middle school and high school volleyball, basic volleyball and position skills, and some understanding of rotation along with the ability to serve overhand. This intense, challenging program stresses position play, advanced team techniques, physical conditioning, and a higher level of competitive play. The camp will provide players with, position work & development, skill development, rotations, offensive and defensive systems, and developing a player's ability to read and process the game. In addition, players will work on mindset training and concepts for positive self-talk, confidence building, and methods to handle pressure during competition.

The Courtyard by Marriott of Rapid City is happy to offer the Guests of Nike Sports Camps at The Box a special 30% off deal for their stay! The Courtyard offers comfort and convenience with their connection to The Box Elder Events Center where Nike camps will be held. Individuals may book their reservations below or may call their hotel of choice directly at (605) 791-0945 and request a reservation with the Nike discount code. The discount is available for the below dates for standard rooms only. Hotels will allow individual cancellations without penalty up to 48-hours prior to arrival date. Policy is enforced regardless of what automated emails or Marriott websites list.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

• Instruction: Daily volleyball training
• Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours.
• Camp T-shirt & Prizes: Campers at multi-day camps will receive a Nike Volleyball Camps t-shirt and prizes. *1-day clinics excluded.
• Volleyballs: Volleyballs are provided for instruction during camp. Campers may purchase a Camp Volleyball at the time of registration, which will be given out on the last day of camp. Fun tip: Have your camp friends sign your ball before you leave!
• Facility: Indoor courts
• Medical Protocol: Our camp will have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
• Transportation: Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNTS

If you have a group of 4 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $25 discount. If you have a group of 8 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $45 discount. Discounts are not available for camps priced at $250 or less. Please fill out the Team Discount - Volleyball form and we will create a unique discount code for your group.

Campers will train on the indoor courts in The Box in Box Elder, South Dakota.
