ABOUT RYG ATHLETICS

RYG Athletics is on a mission to help transform the games and lives of athletes around the country. RYG Athletics is committed to using sport as a vehicle to teach young athletes the leadership, mindset, and athletic skills they need to thrive in sports and life. They're so committed to helping athletes grow as leaders and develop mental toughness that their Academy sessions feature twice daily classroom sessions that include leadership and mindset teaching. Their camps are based on four pillars: fun, challenge, support, and connection. Their goal every week is simple: to be the highlight of every athlete's summer while helping them improve at the game.

    Jordan Neal is a NIKE Volleyball Camp Director, club coach, high school coach, and former D1 assistant coach.

    Last summer, Coach Neal's NIKE Volleyball Camps were two of the highest-rated NIKE Volleyball Camps in the country, among more than 800 weeks of NIKE Volleyball Camp.

    Neal spent four seasons as an Assistant Coach at the University of Arkansas. In that time, three Razorbacks received All American status, (Jill Gillen, Taylor Head and Hannah Hogue) and 5 athletes were chosen 9 times for All-SEC honors.

    As a team, the Razorbacks excelled, appearing in a program first NCAA Elite Eight in 2023, finishing the season with a program best #8 AVCA ranking. In 2022 the Razorbacks made it to the NCAA Second Round finishing the year ranked in the AVCA Top 25.

    In his last three seasons, the Razorbacks were 69-26 (.726) with 7 wins against Top 25 teams and a 4-2 record in the NCAA Tournament.

    Prior to Arkansas, Neal coached at Highland High School in Gilbert, Arizona

    While at Highland High School, Jordan won the school’s first Region Coach of the Year award. His teams also won the school’s first region championship, and twice finished ranked top 5 in Arizona. In that time, Highland produced 19 All-Region Selections and 6 All-State honors.

    Jordan is married to Audrey and has a son Carson and a daughter Lily.

    RYG Athletics operates some of the country's highest-rated NIKE Sports Camps each summer, serving hundreds of athletes across various sports. These camps intentionally integrate leadership and mindset training into all sessions, helping athletes grow as people and players.

    Luke is a passionate advocate for restoring joy in sports. He has a decade of experience coaching multiple sports and over 15 years working in the summer camp space. Holding bachelor's and master's degrees in education, Luke is dedicated to using sports as a vehicle for teaching leadership and mindset skills that help athletes thrive in both sport and life.

    Beyond RYG Athletics, Luke also created and hosts The Cutting Edge Coaching Podcast, where he has conducted over 100 interviews with top coaches, sports psychologists, experts, and leaders on effective coaching.

    Additionally, Luke delivered a TEDx talk titled, The Missing Ingredient in Youth Sports where he outlined how we can provide better experiences in sport to youth athletes.

    Luke holds a bachelors and masters degree in education. He lives in Fayetteville, Arkansas with his wife and three young children.

Camp Details

You can expect high demand on these first-come-first-serve camper spots, so please be sure to register early.

JUNE 22-26: JUNIOR VOLLEYBALL CAMP

  • Open To: Girls, Ages 7-11
  • Daily Hours: 9:00am-12:00pm
  • Check-In: 30 minutes prior to camp start time
  • Check-Out: 12:00pm Day 1-4. Day 5 will include a closing ceremony from 11:30am-12:00pm. Check out will proceed immediately afterward.
  • Lunch: Lunch is not provided.
  • Program: The camp combines court time with leadership and mindset huddles to teach athletes (ages 7-11) the leadership, mindset, and volleyball skills they need to thrive. The camp will teach volleyball players the skills, habits, and principles of play they need to succeed in middle school and high school. Players will develop through dynamic on-court activities in a fun, challenging, and competitive environment.

Please note: Camp schedules and details are subject to change. If important updates occur before camp begins, we’ll notify registered campers by email and update this webpage. Campers may be grouped by age, skill, or experience at the Director’s discretion.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

  • Instruction: Daily volleyball training.
  • Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours.
  • Camp T-shirt & Prizes: Campers at multi-day camps will receive a Nike Volleyball Camps t-shirt and prizes. *1-day clinics excluded.
  • Volleyballs: Volleyballs are provided for instruction during camp. Campers may purchase a Camp Volleyball at the time of registration, which will be given out on the last day of camp. Fun tip: Have your camp friends sign your ball before you leave!
  • Facility: Indoor courts at Valor Volleyball Facility
  • Medical Protocol: Most camps will have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
  • Transportation: Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNTS

If you have a group of 4 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $25 discount. If you have a group of 8 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $45 discount. Discounts are not available for camps priced at $250 or less. Please fill out the Team Discount - Volleyball form and we will create a unique discount code for your group.

Camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.

FAQ

  • If you need to cancel for any reason up until 24 hours prior to camp check-in, you will receive a camp credit voucher for tuition fees paid that is good through the following year for any sport and is transferable to any immediate family member. Participants who DO NOT attend their registered session (no-shows for any reason) or who do not contact USSC to cancel at least 24 hours prior to camp check-in will not receive a voucher or refund.

  • Yes! To save your spot at camp, a deposit is due at registration:

    • $150 for Day and Half Day camps
    • $300 for Overnight and Extended Day camps
    • Camps under $150 must be paid in full at registration.

    Your remaining balance is due on the 1st of the month before your camp begins:

    • June camps → due May 1
    • July camps → due June 1
    • August camps → due July 1

    Any camper with an unpaid balance 10 days before camp will forfeit all fees paid and be removed from the camp.
