Get ready to improve your skills and have a fantastic time at our winter and spring volleyball camp in North Hollywood. Girls, ages 8-18, of all skills, are invited for an opportunity to reach their full potential under elite instruction from the Sierra Canyon School Varsity Volleyball Coach, Stefanie Wigfall.
Coach Wigfall, along with her exceptional team, will assist players in skill development and refining techniques to elevate their game at our California volleyball camp. Join us at our girls' volleyball camp in Los Angeles for an enjoyable and rewarding experience of serious fun!

2023 WINTER CAMP OVERVIEW
- Dates: December 27-29
- Age Group: 8-18
- Gender: Girls
- Daily Hours: 2:00pm-5:00pm, Wednesday-Friday
- Check-in: 1:30pm on Wednesday
- Check-out: 5:00pm each day
- Lunch: Lunch is available to purchase for $10 each day. The menu will be sent out prior to camp. Campers may also bring a lunch to camp each day.
- Program: The All Skills program is designed to improve the fundamental skills needed for volleyball; passing, setting, serving, attacking, blocking, and individual defense. Campers can expect instruction on offensive and defensive skills through team play. Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff and placed into groups based on age and ability level.

SERVING/PASSING CLINIC
- Session I: January 27
- Session II: May 11
- Gender/Age Group: Girls, ages 10-18
- Daily Hours: 9:00am-12:00pm, Saturday
- Check-in: 8:30am
- Lunch: Lunch is not provided.
- Program: The Serving/Passing program is designed for players to improve the strength of their serve and effectiveness of passing. The serving portion of the clinic will focus on the various techniques of serving, along with improving consistency. The passing portion of the clinic will focus on various passing techniques for both front row and back row passers, as well as all-around ball control techniques for all positions. Recommended for all players and positions.
HITTING/BLOCKING CLINIC
- Session I: February 17
- Daily Hours: 9:00am-12:00pm, Saturday
- Gender/Age Group: Girls, ages 10-18
- Check-in: 8:30am
- Lunch: Lunch is not provided.
- Program: The Hitting/Blocking program is designed to elevate hitting and blocking fundamentals for Outside, Middle, and Right Side Hitters! Campers will focus on footwork, body positioning, arm swing, and decision-making in the front row. Campers will learn how to improve their game at the net through demonstrations, drill work, and high repetitions. Recommended for players of all abilities.
POSITION SPECIALTY CLINIC
- Session I: March 23
- Daily Hours: 9:00am-12:00pm, Saturday
- Gender/Age Group: Girls, ages 10-18
- Check-in: 8:30am
- Lunch: Lunch is not provided.
- Program: This Position Specialty Clinic is geared towards players of all abilities. Campers will work on mastering the proper fundamentals for all positions through a mix of drills, games and competitive play.
SETTING/ATTACKING CLINIC
- Session I: April 20
- Daily Hours: 9:00am-12:00pm, Saturday
- Gender/Age Group: Girls, ages 10-18
- Check-in: 8:30am
- Lunch: Lunch is not provided.
- Program: The Setting/Attacking program is designed to focus on the basic fundamentals of attacking and setting. The setting portion of the clinic will focus on mastering hand positioning, follow-through, footwork, and decision-making. The attacking portion of the clinic will focus on mastering their approach, footwork, and arm swing. Setters and Hitters will be combined for maximum repetition, drills, and live game play. Recommended for players of all abilities.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
- Instruction: Morning and afternoon training sessions.
- Lunch: Winter/Spring: Lunch is not provided. Summer ONLY: Lunch options will be available for purchase at $10 per day. The menu will be emailed a week before camp to all campers. Campers are also welcome to bring their lunch.
- Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours.
- Camp T-shirt & Prizes: Campers at multi-day camps will receive a Nike Volleyball Camps t-shirt and prizes. *1-day clinics excluded.
- Volleyballs: Volleyballs are provided for instruction during camp. Campers may purchase a Camp Volleyball at the time of registration, which will be given out on the last day of camp. Fun tip: Have your camp friends sign your ball before you leave!
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY
- Ratio: 1:10 staff-to-camper ratio
- Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience.
- Equipment Needed: Players should supply their own kneepads and have at least one pair of well-broken-in volleyball (court) shoes. Campers do not need to bring their own ball.
- Facility: Indoor courts
- Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNTS
If you have a group of eight or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a discount. Please have someone contact the US Sports Camps office at 1-800-645-3226 with the names of each camper in the group and we will create a unique discount code for your group. Campers may then register individually through the website at their convenience and apply the offer code during check out. *Discount amount varies by program. Please call for details.
Camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.

The City is a sport complex located in North Hollywood. Volleyball players from the Southern California area will compete in a state of the art facility!
Camp Questions & Answers
Can I sign up for more than 1 session/program?
Absolutely! Campers are encouraged to attend multiple sessions. Each program delivers something unique to help players excel in all areas of the game. Many campers will attend more than one session to further refine their skills, compete against new players, or choose a session with a different program focus.
