Take your skills to the next level at our volleyball camp at the University of New Orleans! Open to girls ages 8-18, this Louisiana camp welcomes all skill levels—whether you’re new to the game or getting ready for the 2025 season.
Led by Head Coach Ashley Preston and her dedicated staff, you’ll practice key techniques, gain valuable insights, and build lasting confidence on and off the court. Join us in New Orleans to make new friends, have fun, and elevate your game to the next level!

CAMP OPTIONS

SERVING/PASSING CLINIC
- Dates: June 2
- Age Group: 8-14
- Daily Hours: 9:00am-3:00pm
- Check-in: 8:30am at Human Performance Center
- Lunch: Lunch is not provided. Campers may bring a sack lunch each day or walk to nearby options on campus, including Chick-fil-A and Subway.
- Program: The Serving & Passing program is designed for players to improve the strength of their serve and the effectiveness of passing. The serving portion of the clinic will focus on the various techniques of serving, along with improving consistency. The passing portion of the clinic will focus on various passing techniques for both front row and back row passers, as well as all-around ball control techniques for all positions. Recommended for all players and positions.
DEFENSE CLINIC
- Dates: June 3
- Age Group: 10-18
- Daily Hours: 9:00am-3:00pm
- Check-in: 8:30am at Human Performance Center
- Lunch: Lunch is not provided. Campers may bring a sack lunch each day or walk to nearby options on campus, including Chick-fil-A and Subway.
- Program: The Defense program will help you work on your defensive stance, your transition movement to be more efficient so you can reach more balls and digging form and floor moves. We will break down all aspects of defense so that you feel more confident in your backrow skills! Recommended for all players and positions.
HITTER CLINIC
- Dates: June 4
- Age Group: 10-18
- Daily Hours: 9:00am-3:00pm
- Check-in: 8:30am at Human Performance Center
- Lunch: Lunch is not provided. Campers may bring a sack lunch each day or walk to nearby options on campus, including Chick-fil-A and Subway.
- Program: This Hitter program program is designed to elevate hitting fundamentals for Outside, Middle and Right Side Hitters! Campers will focus on footwork, body positioning, arm swing and decision making in the front row. Campers will learn how to improve their game at the net through demonstrations, drill work, and high repetitions. Recommended for players of all abilities.
ALL SKILLS CAMP
- Session I: June 5-6 (Ages 10-14)
- Session II: July 28-30 (Ages 8-14)
- Daily Hours: 9:00am-3:00pm each day
- Check-in: 8:30am on Day 1 at Human Performance Center

- Program: The All Skills program offers high-energy training focused on fundamental skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Athletes will build a solid foundation and boost confidence in a positive, energetic environment.
SKILLS SERIES (SESSION I)

- Age Group: 10-18
- Daily Hours: 9:00am-12:00pm each day
- Check-in: 8:30am on Day 1 at Human Performance Center

TEAM SKILLS CAMP

- Age Group: 13-18/grades 9-12
- Daily Hours: 6:00pm-9:00pm
- Check-in: 5:30pm on Day 1 at Human Performance Center
- Meals: Meals are not provided.
- Program: This Team Skills program focuses on developing team dynamics and strengthening game play skills. Designed for high school players, it emphasizes six-on-six, game-like drills, film sessions, and team bonding activities. Campers will be grouped into teams based on their positions, allowing them to experience realistic game situations and learn how to play effectively as part of a team.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
- Instruction: Morning, afternoon, and evening training series.
- Supervision: Participants are supervised by staff during camp hours.
- Lunch: Lunch is not provided. Campers may bring a sack lunch each day or walk to nearby options on campus, including Chick-fil-A and Subway.
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY
- Ratio: 1:10 staff-to-player ratio
- Groupings: Participants are grouped by age, ability, and experience, per the Director’s discretion.
- Equipment Needed: Players should supply their own kneepads and have at least one pair of well-broken-in volleyball (court) shoes. Players do not need to bring their own balls.
- Facility: Human Performance Center
- Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, players will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNTS
If you have a group of 4 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $25 discount. If you have a group of 8 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $45 discount. Discounts are not available for camps priced at $250 or less. Please fill out the Team Discount - Volleyball form and we will create a unique discount code for your group.
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

SCHOLARSHIPS
We cannot offer scholarships due to NCAA regulations. Our affiliation with NCAA coaches and schools puts us in a position where any scholarship money can be seen as an inducement to a future collegiate athlete. This puts our coaches and our host universities in jeopardy of damaging their status with the NCAA and incurring penalties at the hands of their organizing body.
Camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.

Many campers will attend more than one session to further refine their skills, compete against new players, or choose a session with a different program focus.
