Boasting one of the best views of the Santa Clara Valley, Nike Golf Camps in Milpitas, held at Summitpointe Golf Club, offer another summer of great golf instruction for junior golfers of all abilities.
Full Day Camps
The students in the full day camp enjoy three hours of instruction each morning. This instruction works on all facets of the game and prepares the junior player for the challenges of the course. After lunch, it’s off to the first tee to play nine holes. During course play our staff teaches strategy, etiquette and course management. The Full Day Camp is designed to create complete golfers and raise their game to the next level.
Half Day Camps
This program offers campers of all abilities the opportunity to work on and improve every part of their game. A Half Day camper will receive three hours of instruction with emphasis on putting, chipping, bunker play and full swing. From beginning players to advanced, these are great camps for anyone who wants to improve.
Designed for players (ages 10-17) who play competitive golf or who are looking to start playing competitively, our Advanced Players Camp takes the camp experience to the next level. Players receive individualized instruction with a low 4:1 student to teacher ratio. Emphasis is on short game instruction, tournament preparation, course management techniques, club fitting, and full swing video instruction. Daily course play of 9-18 holes is designed to elevate players' games to a more competitive level.

Kim Stevens started the Nike Golf Junior Camps at Summitpointe in 2002. Her junior campers come from as far as Saratoga and Dublin as Summitpointe has become THE place in the South Bay for Junior Summer Golf Camps. Safety and fun are the reasons the camps grow each year. She has been teaching golf to adults and juniors of all levels for over 10 years and started playing golf herself at the age of 4. The Bay Area Golf Learning Center programs at Summitpointe, which have group and private lesson instruction for all players and ages, were started under her direction in 2002. Kim’s innovative corporate on-campus golf programs have created excitement and fun for adults wanting to learn or get better at both work and at the course. As a result, Summitpointe has become known as the place in the South Bay to learn how to play golf.
The main reason for the growth and positive reputation of Summit's camps is due to the highly trained teaching staff. The majority of the instructors are teaching professionals who have taught the summer camps at Summitpointe for 2-5 years. Besides having fun in the camps, the juniors will come away with a greatly improved game due to the instructors' enthusiasm and commitment to their students.
