at Nike Baseball Camps

Get ready for another outstanding Nike Baseball Camp at Edgewood University in Verona, Wisconsin! After a fantastic 2025 camp, the coaching staff is energized and ready to make 2026 even better. Athletes of all abilities are encouraged to join us this summer to gain valuable baseball experience and create lasting memories. Quality facilities, knowledgeable coaches, and a positive, growth-focused environment continue to define this camp.

All baseball fundamentals will be covered, including throwing, running, fielding, batting, bunting, baserunning, and pitching. Along with instruction and drill work, campers will enjoy fun, modified drills and games designed to enhance skill development.

Pitchers and catchers won’t want to miss the additional Pitching/Catching Session on Friday the 14th—a great opportunity to refine mechanics and elevate performance both on the mound and behind the plate.

    The 2024 season was Coach Brisack's 25th as the Edgewood University skipper. Brisack, the winningest coach in Edgewood University history, has won three conference titles, taken the Eagles to two NCAA Division III National Tournaments, and finished one game from the World Series in 2005. The Eagles have reached the postseason 15 times under Brisack’s leadership.

    Since taking over the helm in 2000, Brisack has coached 125 All-Conference performers; including back-to-back Player of the Year recipients Travis Krahn and John Fish and Conference Rookie of the Year recipients Travis Krahn and Alex Berta. The Eagles had a league best seven All-Conference members in 2005. 24 players have garnered All-Region recognition with Zack Creekmore earning All-American honors.

    Demonstrating the Program's commitment to developing the scholar-athlete, 275 Eagle Baseball player have earned Conference Scholar-Athlete awards under Brisack's guidance. 13 of those playesr have earned Academic All-District recognition with Jake Zadra and Andrew Handorf each earning Academic All-American honors twice.

    Brisack can be credited with building the Edgewood University baseball team into a Midwest Region contender -- a program that played its first season in 1991. "We have built Eagle Baeball on a total commitment to developing the fullest potential of each young man in the program - developing their potential in academics, in character and in baseball. Our sucess as a team has and always will be determined by the character of the individuals in the program and their belief in our core values - Love, Competitive, Selfless, Mindful, Grateful. On the field, we want our players to play like this could be their last day of baseball and to take pride in their preparation, fundamentals and execution. Off the field, we want them to be grateful for waht they have and strive to W.I.N. every day in their academic, social and athletic pursuits."

    Loving to teach the game, Brisack has had success at every level he has coached. As head coach at St. Bernard High School in Eureka, Calif., Brisack compiled a 156-50 record. He coached St. Bernard to five league titles from 1992 to 1999, 7 sectional appearances, two sectional titles, 6 California top 10 rankings, and was named the ABCA National High School Coach of the Year in 1998 after leading his team to a 27-3 overall record and a No. 1 ranking in the state polls.

    From 1996 to 1999, Brisack served as a Coach of the Humboldt (Calif.) Crabs Collegiate Baseball Program, the winningest and oldest such club in the country. In addition to the on-field duties, he directed the Humboldt Crab’s Baseball Camps and assisted in the recruitment of the top collegiate players in the Country. Brisack is a member of the Crabs Hall of Fame.

    In addition to his duties with Edgewood’s baseball program, Brisack served as the Edgewood University Director of Athletics from July of 2006 until November of 2022. He currently serves as the College's Associate VP for Athletic Development.

    Coach Brisack is married to wife Michele. The couple has been blessed with two beautiful children, Brevin and Victoria.

Camp Details

Instruction will focus primarily on hitting, fielding, base-running, and game situations. You can expect high demand for these first come first serve camper spots, so please be sure to register early.

2026 SUMMER CAMP INFORMATION

  • Dates: August 10-13, 2026 | August 10-14, 2026 (includes Friday pitching session)
  • Age Group: 7-13
  • Camp Type: Day Camp
  • Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 9:00am-2:00pm | Friday Pitching Session, 9:00am-12:00pm
  • Check-In: Begins 30 minutes prior to the camp start time. Check-in will be at the entrance to the field.
  • Meals: Lunch is not provided. Please bring a snack/lunch to camp each day.
  • Directions:
    • Street address for GPS devices: 779 E. Verona Avenue, Verona, WI.
    • From US-151 S/US-18 W
      Exit at Verona Ave (Exit 81) towards US-18 Bus/US-151 Bus
      Continue onto E Verona Avenue
      Turn left at Enterprise Drive and proceed to the back of the parking lot

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

  • Daily Baseball Instruction
  • Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours

INSTRUCTION & FACILITY

  • Ratio: 1:10 staff to camper ratio

  • Groupings: Campers are grouped by ability, age, and experience, per the Director's discretion.

  • Facility: Full college field, batting cages, and bullpens. Outdoor fields. Indoor facilities are available during inclement weather conditions.

Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. Please note that US Sports Camps does NOT provide equipment and is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL

Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRAVEL

Nike Baseball Camps does not provide transportation from airports, train stations or bus depots. If you have a child flying to camp, please arrange a shuttle or taxi service.

TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNT

If you have a team or group of 5 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper may be eligible for a discount. To receive the group discount, please have someone email US Sports Camps at [email protected] with the following information: Camp name, list of camper names, and the number of campers. We will respond with a unique discount code for everyone in the group to use during online registration. *Note: Discount amounts vary by program, so please reach out for more details.
