McCauley has led Evansville to five postseason appearances, including the 2016 Frontier League Championship season. He was the 2021 and 2014 Roger Hanners Award winner for Frontier League Manager of the Year, and in 2014, he guided Evansville to the playoffs that season for the first time since 2006.

McCauley accepted the manager’s position on July 6, 2010. In 50 games that year, he led the Otters to a 19-31 record but revamped the franchise. The Otters had a slower start in 2011, but with McCauley’s leadership, were able to finish the second half of the season above .500. The Otters had 45 wins in 2012 and 51 victories in 2013 (the team's first winning season since 2005). In 2014, Evansville won 57 games and after a 48-48 season in 2015, the Otters finished with 55 regular season wins in 2016. McCauley guided the Otters to postseason appearances with 52 wins in 2017, 51 wins in 2018, and a franchise-tying record of 57 wins in 2019 and the franchise's first Frontier League division title since 1999. The Otters followed that up with another 57-win season in 2021.

McCauley has managed in the Frontier League before. In 1998, he became the skipper for the Kalamazoo Kodiaks. The next season, McCauley managed the London Werewolves, another Frontier League team, to a 54-30 record and a league championship. McCauley has also had success in the Northern League from 2002-09 with the Quebec Capitales, Schaumburg Flyers and Kansas City T-Bones. It was with Kansas City that he also won another league championship in 2008.

McCauley is a 1991 graduate of Mansfield (Pa.) University.

Segal previously spent nine spring seasons and four summer campaigns coaching all levels of college baseball.

to 2022, Segal had helped 19 teams to a 852-505 (.628) overall record. His six professional clubs had posted a 343-262 (.567) record, while his 13 college squads registered a 509-243 (.677) mark. Segal has seen 18 of his 19 teams tally a winning record, while all ten of his summer clubs finished in the top two of their respective divisions.

Segal has helped five of his independent league teams to postseason berths. Evansville captured the 2016 Frontier League championship and advanced to the playoffs each of the following three seasons. The Gary (Ind.) SouthShore RailCats claimed the 2013 American Association title when Segal was their hitting and third base coach.

With Segal in the dugout, the Otters have turned in regular season records of 57-39 (.594), 57-39 (.594), 51-45 (.531), 52-44 (.542) and 55-40 (.579). He was named the Darren Bush Frontier League Coach of the Year following the 2017 season in Evansville. In Segal’s lone campaign in Northwest Indiana, the RailCats finished regular season action 58-41 (.611).

In six previous seasons as an independent-league instructor, Segal has seen 20 players move up to teams affiliated with Major League Baseball organizations. Segal saw 94 players advance from junior college to four-year institutions. The figure includes 66 Division I players, with many of the nation’s top conferences represented. In addition, 74 of his college players went on to sign professional contracts.

Before arriving in Evansville, Segal logged time with five regular season collegiate programs in five different states. Seven of his nine teams enjoyed national rankings, while six earned berths in national postseason tournaments.

Segal served as the top assistant, recruiting coordinator, hitting coach and third base coach at Wabash Valley College (Ill.) from 2013-16. The 36-year-old was the recruiting coordinator and hitting coach at Tarleton State University (Texas) in 2012. He worked with infielders, hitters and coached first base at Iowa Western College in 2011.

The Indianapolis native worked with catchers, hitters and coached first base at Butler University in 2010. He spent the 2008 and 2009 campaigns as a graduate assistant at Union College (Ky.).

Prior to joining the Otters, Segal also spent four summers mentoring players in collegiate wood-bat leagues. He managed the 2014 and 2015 Terre Haute (Ind.) Rex after serving as the hitting coach and catching instructor for the same organization in 2012. He started 2010 as the top assistant for the North Adams (Mass.) SteepleCats and finished the summer managing the club.

A catcher at Indiana University from 2003-06, Segal was a three-time Academic All-Big Ten selection. He earned a bachelor’s degree in sport management from IU in 2006 and master’s degree in health and physical education from Union in 2009.

Segal is married to the former Rachel Harvey. The couple has two sons, Asher and Jacob, and one daughter, Lillian.

He pitched three years in the A’s organization and another two with the Chicago White Sox. He also has Frontier League playing experience, saving 12 games for the Southern Illinois Miners in 2012.

In 2014, his first professional season as a coach, Peterson piloted Evansville to the playoffs for the first time since 2006 and a 3.30 earned run average, which was lowest in the Frontier League. The Otters yielded a league-low 46 home runs and accumulated a league-high 788 strikeouts. During the 2016 championship season, the Otters finished with a team ERA of 3.97 and 721 strikeouts.

In 2019, Peterson was given the Darren Bush Frontier League Coach of the Year Award. Peterson’s guidance led six Otters’ pitchers to being signed to MLB affiliated organizations. Peterson also led the Otters’ pitching staff to a franchise single season record of 868 strikeouts, which led the Frontier League. The franchise’s last record-setting mark was 832 in 2017.

While at OCU, Easley helped coach two All-Americans and three professional catchers. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Radio/Television/Video from the University of the Ozark’s and a Master’s degree in positive coaching from the University of Missouri.

The Olney, Ill. native played for the Otters in 2011, hitting .262 with two home runs and 15 RBIs.

Britton played professional baseball for seven seasons including five with the Atlanta Braves' organization and two years with the Baltimore Orioles. He played as high as Class AAA with Norfolk of the Orioles' organization in 2010.

Watson played his college baseball at Oklahoma State before being drafted in the 17th round of the 2002 MLB Draft. Watson had a six-year playing career (2002-08) including two full seasons under manager Andy McCauley with the Schaumburg Flyers (2006) and Kansas City T-Bones (2007).

With Kansas City, Watson arguably had his best season, hitting .343 and being named to the All-Independent League second team. The following year, he hit .344 while with the T-Bones before joining the Phillies' organization.

Watson also coached with Penn State during the 2005 season.
