Get ready this summer for an exciting Nike Baseball Camp at Bosse Field in Evansville, IN … Home of the Evansville Otters! Camp will be directed by manager, Andy McCauley. With the most wins in regular season history for the franchise (531), Coach McCauley is thrilled to bring his knowledge of the game and winning culture to all campers who attend. At the helm since 2010, McCauley is two-time manager of the year for the Otters and has led them to five postseason appearances. He is more than confident he and his staff will provide a great learning environment and give each camper the proper tools to excel at the next level.
Campers will learn how to approach the sport the right way as they fine-tune their fielding, hitting, base-running skills, and enhance their knowledge of the game, all while having an awesome time and making new friends.

Director Andy McCauley
Andy McCauley has been the Otters' manager since 2010. He increased his managerial records in Otters’ history in 2021, sitting first in franchise history in regular season wins (531) and games managed (1,006). McCauley’s overall win total stands at 538.

Hitting Coach Bobby Segal
Bobby Segal, who has been involved with college and/or professional baseball every year since 2003, is in his seventh season as hitting coach for the Evansville Otters and eighth campaign as part of an independent league field staff.

Pitching Coach Max Peterson
San Diego native Max Peterson is in his ninth season as the team’s pitching coach. Peterson is a five-year veteran of minor league baseball and is a former 18th round pick of the Oakland Athletics.

Assistant Coach Billy Easley
Billy Easley is entering his second season with the Otters, primarily working with the catchers. He had been an assistant coach at NAIA Oklahoma City University for six seasons.

Phil Britton has been an Otters catcher and spring training instructor since 2012.

Assistant Coach Rob Watson
Rob Watson is back for his 13th season as a coach for the Evansville Otters. He guided the pitching staff in Evansville during the 2010 season and has assisted since 2011.

Camp Details
Instruction will focus primarily on hitting, fielding, base-running, and game situations. You can expect high demand for these first come first serve camper spots, so please be sure to register early.

- Dates: June 24-27, 2024
- Age Group: 7-13
- Camp Type: Day Camp
- Schedule: Monday 9:00am-2:00pm, Tuesday-Wednesday 9:00am-12:00pm, Thursday- GAME!
June 27: Evansville Otters Game vs. Joliet Slammers (Camper Ticket Provided) - Check-In: Begins 30 minutes prior to the camp start time.
- Meals: lunch provided on Monday the 24th. Snacks provided June 25, June 26

- Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours

INSTRUCTION & FACILITY
Ratio: 1:10 staff to camper ratio
Groupings: Campers are initially grouped by age and moved around accordingly based on skill level.
Facility: Outdoor Fields. No Indoor Facility.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
TRAVEL
Nike Baseball Camps does not provide transportation from airports, train stations or bus depots. If you have a child flying to camp, please arrange a shuttle or taxi service.
TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNT
If you have a group of campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a discount. Please have someone contact the US Sports Camps office at 1-800-645-3226 with the names of each camper in the group and we will create a unique discount code for your group. Campers may then register individually through the website at their convenience and apply the offer code during checkout. *Discount amount varies by program. Please call for details.
