INSTRUCTION & FACILITY
Ratio: 1:10 staff to camper ratio
Groupings: Campers are grouped by ability, age, and experience, per the Director's discretion.
Facility: Outdoor Fields. No Indoor Facility.
Emphasis of Training:
- Hitting: Swing Technique & Philosophy, Bunting, Situational Hitting, Plate Approach and Focus.
- Defense: Hands Development, Positioning & Footwork, Communication, Cuts, Relays and Rundowns, Catching Footwork and Throwing.
- Pitching: Throwing Mechanics, Wind-up & Stretch, Location & Deception, Pick-Offs, Care, Recovery & Prevention.
- Baserunning: Lead offs, Stealing, Decision-Making and Picking up 3rd Base Coach

MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
TRAVEL
Nike Baseball Camps does not provide transportation from airports, train stations or bus depots. If you have a child flying to camp, please arrange a shuttle or taxi service.
TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNT
If you have a team or group of 5 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper may be eligible for a discount. To receive the group discount, please have someone email US Sports Camps at [email protected] with the following information: Camp name, list of camper names, and the number of campers. We will respond with a unique discount code for everyone in the group to use during online registration. *Note: Discount amounts vary by program, so please reach out for more details.

Director's Note to Campers
"The Gateway Grizzlies coaching staff and players are excited to host a skills and development camp at Arsenal BG Ballpark in Sauget, IL. Participants will receive high energy and age-appropriate instruction from baseball professionals in the categories of pitching, catching, hitting and fielding. We look forward to an impactful camp and are excited to see you at the ballpark this summer."
Arsenal BG Ballpark, located in Sauget, Illinois, is home to the Gateway Grizzlies of the Frontier League. Originally opened in 2002 as GMC Stadium, it later became GCS Credit Union Ballpark before being renamed in 2025. The ballpark offers reserved box seating, lawn seating, party suites, a hot tub suite, and bleacher seating, expanding capacity to 6,000 fans (8,000 for special events).
The Grizzlies have been a major draw, becoming the first Frontier League team to surpass 200,000 fans in a season (2004) and have had 37 players signed by MLB affiliates since their inception in 2001.
