This summer, get ready for an unforgettable experience with the Springfield Cardinals, the Double-A Affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals, at the Nike Baseball Camp at Route 66 Stadium in Springfield, MO.

Campers will have an unforgettable experience improving their game with the Cardinals staff and players! Their wealth of baseball knowledge will ensure that every camper walks away with valuable skills they can use on and off the field. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your skills, this camp will provide everyone with a positive development experience.

Campers will learn how to approach the sport the right way as they fine-tune their fielding, hitting, base-running skills, and enhance their knowledge of the game, all while having an awesome time and making new friends.

    A native of Willard and graduate of Willard High School and Southwest Baptist University. Caleb went on to play baseball at SBU during the 2018-2020 seasons, where he secured his Sports Marketing degree prior to moving on to work with the Springfield Cardinals beginning in 2022.

    Springfield Cardinals Manager

    Following an overwhelmingly successful 2025 Championship season, 'PA' manages Springfield for a second-consecutive season in 2026. The eighth manager in franchise history, Anderson is anticipated to reach managerial career win milestones in 2026 in what is his fifth in the St. Louis organization (three years with High-A Peoria and two years with Double-A Springfield). Anderson, who calls nearby Columbia, MO home, previously spent seven years in the Nationals organization (2013 - 19) as manager with the Single-A Hagerstown Suns (2014-19) and Gulf Coast League Nationals (2013).

    Anderson played collegiately at Mars Hill (NC) University and played three years of Independent League Baseball. He began coaching in 1996 as an assistant with Gannon (PA) University. Anderson also spent time at Hofstra University as an assistant coach (1999-2001) and head coach (2009-11). In-between his college coaching were coaching positions in the Royals organization in the GCL (2001), Midwest League (2002-06), Pioneer League (2007) and Appalachian League (2008).

    Springfield Cardinals Pitching Coach

    Peterson returns for his fourth season as Springfield's Pitching Coach after guiding a 2025 club that lead the Texas League in ERA (3.55) and that set a franchise record for strikeouts (1,324) for the second consecutive season. The Bear, DE native played college baseball at Temple University for two seasons before transferring to North Carolina State University. He was drafted in the 37th round of the 2014 MLB Draft by the Houston Astros and suited up for the Corpus Christi Hooks in the Texas League during the 2016 and 2017 campaigns.

Camp Details

Instruction will focus primarily on hitting, fielding, base-running, and game situations. You can expect high demand for these first come first serve camper spots, so please be sure to register early.

CAMP INFORMATION

  • Dates: July 28-30, 2026
  • Age Group: 8-14
  • Camp Type: Day Camp
  • Schedule: Tuesday-Thursday, 9:00am-12:00pm, Thursday- GAME!
  • Check-In: Begins 30 minutes prior to the camp start time. Check-in will take place directly inside Gate 1, starting at 8:30 AM each day of the camp.
  • Meals: Lunch will not be provided. Please bring a snack to camp each day.

  • Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours

INSTRUCTION & FACILITY

  • Ratio: 1:10 staff to camper ratio

  • Groupings: Campers are grouped by ability, age, and experience, per the Director's discretion.

  • Facility: Outdoor Fields. In case of inclement weather, we will continue drills inside the Indoor Training Facility.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL

Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRAVEL

Nike Baseball Camps does not provide transportation from airports, train stations or bus depots. If you have a child flying to camp, please arrange a shuttle or taxi service.

TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNT

If you have a team or group of 5 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper may be eligible for a discount. To receive the group discount, please have someone email US Sports Camps at [email protected] with the following information: Camp name, list of camper names, and the number of campers. We will respond with a unique discount code for everyone in the group to use during online registration. *Note: Discount amounts vary by program, so please reach out for more details.

Facility

Route 66 Stadium

Missouri State University in conjunction with the Springfield Cardinals, O'Reilly Auto Parts, the City of Springfield and Mercy, is excited to announce that the home ballpark for Missouri State Bears Baseball and the Springfield Cardinals is being renamed to Route 66 Stadium. A multi-year agreement with all the entities listed above marks a first-of-its-kind naming rights collaboration to create a destination for travelers near and far.

"Missouri State Baseball has a proud history of success that has continued with our move to Conference USA. We are grateful for the outstanding community members who have allowed us to participate in this unique stadium collaboration," said Missouri State Director of Athletics Patrick Ransdell. "It is an exciting way to increase national exposure for the university, our program and our players. We are excited to join with these iconic community pillars to create a new vision for this stadium."

  • Sessions are $299 for a 3-day camp. A deposit secures your spot, with the balance due by the 1st day of the month prior to camp starting.
