Work on your basketball skills during winter 2023 and summer 2024 at Amherst College, led by Head Men's Basketball Coach Marlon Sears. This basketball clinic is the perfect location to help you stay above the competition with specialty instruction, fun drills, scrimmages, and more!
The Complete Skills Clinic helps players of all abilities develop athletically, refine fundamental basketball skills and enhance their skill set at the post, wing, or guard position.
*This clinic must comply with the regulations of the MDPH & be licensed by the LBOH.

Head Coach Marlon Sears
Hired in the summer of 2020, Marlon Sears is set to hit the sidelines for his first season as head coach of the Amherst College men's basketball program in 2020-2021. Before rejoining Columbia a year ago, Sears served as the head coach at Division III Montclair State (N.J.) University from 2015-19, where he led the Red Hawks to some of the most successful seasons in the program's history.

Meals: Half day campers will depart before lunch. Full day campers can bring a packed lunch or lunch can be purchased for $80 for Monday-Thursday at registration.

Complete Skills III:

ELITE CAMP DETAILS
Players attending the 2024 Elite Camp at Amherst College will have the opportunity to showcase their abilities in front of the Amherst College Coaches in addition to dozens of other collegiate coaches from various prestigious academic institutions throughout the country. To ensure each player will have multiple opportunities to be evaluated by our staff and other collegiate coaches in attendance, we have placed a limit on the number of available spots.
Driving Directions
At the corner of Rte. 9 and Rte. 116, turn onto Rte. 116 South 2. Take the THIRD LEFT (counting the “Do Not Enter”) into the athletics complex 3. The athletics parking lot will be immediately on your right (along with Orr Rink). If there are no spaces available, try parking to your left in front of Alumni Gymnasium. If you still cannot find parking, go across the street and park along Hitchcock Road, which is directly across from the entrance to the athletics complex.

PACKING LIST
Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.

CAMPER EVALUATION
Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. In addition, campers will be evaluated and then split up into smaller groups according to age and ability.
MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most clinics have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided by the clinic to or from any airports. If you are flying to or from the clinic, we recommend using an airport shuttle service. Please schedule flights as close as you can to the check-in times on the first day and check-out times on the last day.
