Improve your basketball game in Las Vegas at Bishop Gorman High School. This fall 2023 and spring 2024 camp offers boys and girls sessions to help improve your shooting accuracy, ball-handling, and team play skills. Train with Head Men's Coach, Grant Rice, and the Bishop Gorman staff and make long-lasting friendships.
The Complete Skills Camp helps players of all abilities develop athletically, refine fundamental basketball skills and enhance their skill set at the post, wing or guard position.

Head Coach Grant Rice
Grant Rice has been the head basketball coach at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, NV, since 2001. He has guided the Gaels to 12 Nevada State Championships and, in 2020, earned his 500th career victory as head coach.View Grant's Bio ⟩
Coach Rice grew up in California and played high school basketball at Claremont High School. He played college basketball at UNLV. He and his wife, Brooke, have 3 children - Carli, Blake and Drew. His brother Dave was the head basketball coach at UNLV from 2011-2016 and is currently an assistant coach at the University of Washington.
In addition to being the head basketball coach, Grant is the Athletic Director at Bishop Gorman and oversees 25 sports. Rice also served a four-year term on the NFHS Basketball Rules Committee from 2015-2018. He is currently the Co-Director of the Annual Tarkanian Classic Basketball Tournament in December as well as the Big Time AAU event in July. Rice was also Co-Director of the Las Vegas Fab 48 from 2010-2018.
Associate Head Coach Mike Wright
Coach Wright has been a coach for 25 years at Bishop Gorman High School and is starting his 15th year as the Varsity Men’s Basketball Associate Head Coach.View Mike's Bio ⟩
A 1991 graduate of Bishop Gorman High School, Coach Wright received his Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Upper Iowa in 1998 and earned his Master’s Degree from Grand Canyon University in 2018.
Prior to his return to his alma mater, he was chasing his dream of playing professional football, which he did overseas in Vienna, Austria and in the Arena Football League (AFL). Coach Wright ultimately realized his true calling of coaching and has made an impact on the lives of many athletes.
Coach Wright has quite the assortment of state titles. winning two state championships in basketball as a player and acquiring more accolades as a coach of football, basketball, and track. He has more than 25 state titles to his name.
Assistant Head Coach Rich Thornton
Rich Thornton is entering his 12th year as the Varsity Assistant Coach at Bishop Gorman High School. Coach Thornton is also the Assistant Director of Vegas Elite Basketball Club of the Nike EYBL.View Rich's Bio ⟩
Prior to Bishop Gorman, Thornton played collegiate basketball at Dixie State Junior College in Utah and then later transferred to Sam Houston State University in Texas.
Camp Co-Director Bjorn Berg
Coach Berg is entering his 15th season as an assistant high school varsity basketball in Las Vegas. Coach Berg brings a diverse background of being an educator and a former college basketball player.View Bjorn's Bio ⟩
He has a true passion for helping individuals live a healthy and active lifestyle through daily physical activity and healthy eating habits.

Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. In addition, campers will be evaluated and then split up into smaller groups according to age and ability.
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

Transportation is not provided by the camp to or from any airports. If you are flying to or from camp, we recommend using an airport shuttle service. Please schedule flights as close as you can to the check-in times on the first day and check-out times on the last day.

Bishop Gorman High School is a Roman Catholic preparatory school located in Summerlin, Nevada.
June 23, 2023: Landon got to have more practice time, he was able to utilize his skills in basketball and learned to become more consistent. He got to meet other players and gain more experience of playing with new people.
June 24, 2022: He talked non stop about his coach, Noah who I believe was one of the student athletes at the camp. He absolutely loved him and really enjoyed playing on his team.
July 2, 2023: Jade loved the scrimmages, and learned a lot. This was a successful experience for her, her first Nike camp, and she loved it.
June 23, 2023: All around learning more about basketball and meeting new people and making new memories with basketball
June 25, 2022: My children enjoyed the camp. While it was challenging, it was fun for the them too.
June 27, 2022: My child's attitude improved he loved it wouldn't stop talking about it.
June 19, 2023: Allowing kids to meet new friends and gain basketball knowledge and skills
