at Nike Basketball Camps

Get ahead of the competition in summer 2026 with Coach Mo Smith and staff. Whether you are new to the game or wanting to refine your skillset, this is camp at Flagler College is an ideal location to make new friends, hone your strengths, improve your weak points, and build confidence in your game by working through technical skills, drills, and scrimmages.

The Complete Skills Camp helps players of all abilities develop athletically, refine fundamental basketball skills and enhance their skill set at the post, wing, or guard position.

The Advanced Skills Camp is for players with at least three years of school and/or travel team experience. This camp only accepts a limited amount of players for the most personalized instruction in a small group setting and is drill based with equal focus on offense, defense, practice concepts, film and game study.

    Director

    Mo Smith is an accomplished collegiate women’s basketball coach with over two decades of experience as a player and coach, including head coaching stops at Flagler College and Georgia College.

    Currently in his role as the 19th head women’s basketball coach at Flagler College since June 9, 2019, he has guided the Saints to consistent top-three Peach Belt Conference finishes in scoring, three-point field goals made, rebounding, and free throw percentage, while leading the league multiple times in free throw shooting and ranking among conference leaders in three-point accuracy and defensive efficiency.

    Under his leadership, Flagler has produced multiple All-Peach Belt Conference selections, including a Defensive Player of the Year, a First Team All-PBC honoree, an Elite 18 Award recipient, and numerous Academic All-Conference student-athletes. Prior to Flagler, he spent nine seasons as head coach at Georgia College (2010–2019), where he compiled 195 career wins, led the Bobcats to three Peach Belt Conference Tournament Championship game appearances—including a title in 2010–11—and guided the program to an NCAA Division II Southeast Regional appearance. His teams advanced to multiple NCAA Tournament and Sweet 16 appearances during his time as both a head coach and assistant.

    A Georgia College alumnus, he earned a B.S. in Psychology and an M.S. in Public Administration, was a Second Team All-Conference student-athlete, and a member of the program’s Elite Eight team before beginning his coaching career as a graduate assistant on a conference championship and NCAA Sweet 16 squad. He spent 18 years at Georgia College as a player and coach and is married to former Georgia College student-athlete Martine Thomas; they have two daughters, Jaiden and Olivia.

    The Elite Hoops Basketball (EHB) staff is comprised of some of the best coaches in the area, specializing in camps, clinics, training sessions, leagues, and travel teams. Elite Hoops Basketball has been in partnership with Nike Basketball Camps for over 12 years, directing some of the Southeast's most popular day basketball camps.

    They are dedicated to providing athletes with the proper training and tools necessary to help improve your fundamental skills, offensive and defensive moves, and overall game in a fun and motivating environment. In 2016, EHB directed over 50 Nike Basketball Camps across eight southeastern states (Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee) with over 3600 players in attendance! 2026 DATES

  • Boys Complete Skills I: June 1-5
  • Boys Complete Skills II: June 15-19
  • Boys Advanced Skills II: June 22-26
  • Girls Advanced Skills I: June 22-26

CAMP HOURS

  • Check-in: Monday at 8:30am
  • Closing Ceremony: Friday at 11:30am
  • Meals: Lunch is not included. Please bring a packed lunch.
  • Daily Hours: MON-THURS 9AM-3PM FRI 9AM-12PM

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

  • Instruction: Morning and afternoon training sessions
  • Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours
  • Lunch: Lunch is not provided, please bring a sack lunch each day
  • Camp T-shirt & Prizes: Campers at multi-day camps will receive a Nike Basketball Camps t-shirt. *1-day clinics and fall, winter and spring camps excluded.
  • Basketballs: Basketballs are provided for instruction during camp

INSTRUCTION & FACILITY

  • Ratio: 1:10 staff-to-camper ratio
  • Groupings: Campers are grouped by ability, age, and experience, per the Director's discretion
  • Facility: Indoor courts
  • Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

BASKETBALLS

Nike All Court Elite Basketballs can be purchased during registration for $35. Players can choose between a size 6 (28.5", standard girls) or size 7 (29.5", standard boys) ball, which will be passed out on the last day of camp. Please note that it is not recommended to bring a basketball to camp as they are provided by the staff for camp instruction.

PRE-CAMP CHECKLIST

To view your customer account, complete your mandatory forms, pay balance dues, and review important camp information, visit Pre-Camp Checklist. All necessary camp information is on this page. If there are any imperative changes prior to camp start, registered campers will be notified via email and this webpage will be updated!

PACKING LIST

Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.

CAMPER EVALUATION

Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. In addition, campers will be evaluated and then split up into smaller groups according to age and ability.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL

Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

COMPANY POLICIES

If you need to cancel for any reason up until 24 hours prior to camp check-in, you will receive a camp credit voucher for tuition fees paid that is good through the following year for any sport and is transferable to any immediate family member. Participants who DO NOT attend their registered session (no-shows for any reason) or who do not contact USSC to cancel at least 24 hours prior to camp check-in will not receive a voucher or refund. Cash refunds are given only if Cancellation Protection was purchased at the time of registration and the cancellation is made before your balance due date.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is not provided by the camp to or from any airports. If you are flying to or from camp, we recommend using an airport shuttle service. Please schedule flights as close as you can to the check-in times on the first day and check-out times on the last day.
