Drew Maddux, Head Coach at Christ Presbyterian Academy, and team are back in summer 2024 at Davidson Academy in Nashville, TN for two weeks of all boys basketball camp! Focus on the fundamentals and fine-tuning your positional work in a positive and high-energy environment all while having serious fun.
The Complete Skills Camp helps players of all abilities develop athletically, refine fundamental basketball skills and enhance their skill set at the post, wing or guard position.

Co-Director Kevin Harper
Over the past nineteen years, Coach Harper has been affiliated with the boys’ basketball program at Davidson Academy. Starting as an assistant in 2002, he was a part of the first two teams to qualify for the sub-state in 2002 and 2008. He was promoted to head coach in 2011, and he led the school to the boys’ first state tournament appearance in 2015 along with coaching the first Mr. Basketball candidate in school history. He was also named the DII Class A District IV Coach of the Year in 2019.

Staff Elite Hoops Basketball
The Elite Hoops Basketball (EHB) staff is comprised of some of the best coaches in the area, specializing in camps, clinics, training sessions, leagues, and travel teams. Elite Hoops Basketball has been in partnership with Nike Basketball Camps for over 12 years, directing some of the Southeast's most popular day basketball camps.

June 24-27, 2024
Check-in: Monday at 8:30am
Closing Ceremony: Thursday at 2:30pm
Meals: Lunch is not provided, please bring a packed lunch or money. There will be a concession stand on-site.

*NOTE: Per Tennessee amateur law, rising 9th graders attending Davidson Academy for school this fall are not permitted to attend this camp.
BASKETBALLS
Nike Versa Tack Basketballs can be purchased during registration for $30. Players can choose between a size 6 (28.5", standard girls) or size 7 (29.5", standard boys) ball, which will be passed out on the last day of camp. Please note that it is not required to bring a basketball to camp as they are provided by the staff for camp instruction.

Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.

CAMPER EVALUATION
Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. In addition, campers will be evaluated and then split up into smaller groups according to age and ability.
MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided by the camp to or from any airports. If you are flying to or from camp, we recommend using an airport shuttle service. Please schedule flights as close as you can to the check-in times on the first day and check-out times on the last day.

Davidson Academy is a private Christian school located in Nashville, Tennessee. It has students ranging from K-3 to 12th grade.

July 11, 2022: The highlight of this camp experience was that my son's skills for teamwork and creating assists by passing to teammates was not only appreciated, but also valued by the camp's coaches and director. At the middle school where he has played the past three years., attention was only given to those who decided to stand alone in an effort to call attention to themselves. Because basketball is a team sport and my son values the team sport aspect of the game, it always confused him when he was condemned at school for not being aggressive enough because he passed the ball and set up plays.
