Adam’s passion for running has stayed with him throughout a successful high school and collegiate running career, an NCAA coaching career, post-collegiate coaching, and as a running store owner. A Northern California native, Adam graduated from Pioneer HS in 1997. While at Pioneer, Boothe was a CCS Champion and two-time cross country state championships qualifier.

From there he went on to Cal Poly SLO, and was back-to-back Big West Conference Champion and an NCAA DI National Qualifier. At Cal Poly, Adam ran for Mark Conover, 1988 Olympic Marathon Trials Champion. From 2003-2010, Adam was head coach of the Women’s Cross Country team at UC Santa Cruz. In 2010, Adam went on to Winona State University in Winona, Minnesota. In just his 1st year as head coach, the WSU Warriors Women’s Cross Country team achieved their first ever NCAA Top 25 ranking, and went on the finish 9th at the 2012 NCAA DII National Championships- including 2 NCAA All Americans, and 6 NCAA All Region Finalists. In addition to coaching, Adam received his Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership, and taught courses in the Physical Education Department while at WSU.
