Alex Young
Assistant Coach
Alexandra Young is entering her first season as the assistant coach of the women's lacrosse program after being hired in the summer of 2024.
Young comes to Anderson after working as a graduate assistant at Limestone University in Gaffney, SC from 2022-2024. During her time working with the Saints, the team had 15South Atlantic Conference All-Conference players, two SAC Defensive Players of the Year, three IWLCA All-Region players in the South, one USA Lacrosse All-American, three IWLCA All-American athletes, six IWLCA Division II Academic Honor Roll recipients, a SAC Elite 23 award, a SAC Championship appearance and a SAC Championship in 2024.
Young graduated with a BA in Editing and Publishing and an English minor from Limestone University in 2021 and is currently pursuing her MBA with a concentration in Leadership and Management. While at Limestone, she played lacrosse all four years, during which time the Saints were the 2018 and 2019 Conference Carolina Season Champions and made NCAA Tournament appearances in 2018 and 2021.
Young is originally from Orangeville, Ontario, Canada and currently resides in Greenville, SC with her husband Eric Mullinax.
