Raven Thomas
Assistant Coach
Raven Thomas is the current assistant women's lacrosse coach at Lander University
Raven comes to Lander after a remarkably successful coaching career at the high school level. She has been a two time SCHSL Coach of the Year as well as the 2024 USA Lacrosse Coach of the Year for SC. In 2024, she led Chapin HS to a SC 5A State Championship. She has also been a coach and sub-region director of the South Carolina National Team. In addition, she runs Rapids Lacrosse, the highest ranked club program in the state of South Carolina. As a player at Erskine College, she was a multi-year captain and earned the 2018 Fleety for Female Athlete of the Year.
In addition to her numerous lacrosse accolades, Coach Raven has also been an incredible special education teacher throughout her professional career. In 2022, she was named the Swansea High School Teacher of the Year.
