Amanda Hollandsworth
Hollandsworth served as interim assistant coach for the Maryland women’s golf program on November 2021 to May 2022.
The Floyd, Virginia native played Division I golf at Virginia Tech from 2014-19, completing her collegiate career with Hokies with 14 top-10 finishes, including a fifth-place finish at the 2019 NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championship at The Blessings Golf Club.
Hollandsworth turned pro in May 2019 after completing her graduate degree. She’s played in the 2019 U.S Women’s Open. She currently competes on the Epson Tour (formerly the Symetra Tour), the official qualifying tour of the LPGA Tour. Holllandsworth’s rookie year was 2020.
Hollandsworth holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise and a master’s in Applied Nutrition and Physical Activity from Virginia Tech.
Amanda has ties to Maryland; her older sister Jessica Hollandsworth who played for Maryland from 2008-12, was a three-time All-ACC Selection and is ranked 6th on the career scoring average for the Terrapins.
