Amber Jones, a former D1 collegiate player, is a Fitness Trainer at Vault Athletics & Fitness and is in her 12th year as Head Field Hockey Coach at Kempsville High School. Coach Jones was named the 2025 Coach of the Year for Region 5A!
As a Virginia Beach Native, Jones has been a part of the VB field hockey community for the last 15+ years.
A high school standout, who went on to play at the D1 level at VCU, Jones has dedicated herself to the skill and character development of all ages. Incorporating her technical/tactical knowledge with important life lessons.
Coaching has been her passion since the age of 16. From coaching local leagues, grade schools, clinics, camps, and clubs - her continuous love for field hockey has increased her desire to continue to help grow the sport.
