Join the our field hockey camp at Virginia Beach Sportsplex this summer! Open to girls, ages 9-16, from Princess Anne County and nearby areas, this camp is perfect for all skill levels. Led by Camp Director Amber Jones and her skilled team, players will enhance their field hockey skills, learn strategies, and prepare for the 2025 season.
Through hands-on training, strategy sessions, and team-building, athletes will develop confidence, connections, and a lasting passion for the game. Don’t miss this chance to grow and have fun, register today!

Director
Amber Jones, a former D1 collegiate player, is a Fitness Trainer at Vault Athletics & Fitness and is in her 12th year as Head Field Hockey Coach at Kempsville High School. Coach Jones was named the 2025 Coach of the Year for Region 5A!

Schedule: 9:00am-4:00pm each day.

Lunch: Lunch is available for purchase through this link. Campers are also welcome to bring their own lunch.
Program: The All Skills program is geared towards players of all abilities. Campers will work on mastering the proper fundamentals for all positions through a mix of drills, games, and competitive play. Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff and placed into groups based on age and ability level.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
Instruction: Daily training sessions
Lunch: Lunch is available for purchase through this link. Campers are also welcome to bring their own lunch.
Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours.
Camp Gear: All campers receive a Nike Field Hockey Camps package (reversible jersey, ball, lanyard) and other fun prizes.
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY
Ratio: 1:10 staff-to-camper ratio
Groupings: Campers are grouped by ability, age, and experience, per the Director’s discretion.
Equipment Needed: Hockey stick, water bottle, mouth guard, shin guards, turf shoes (goalies must bring full goalie protective equipment)
Inclement Weather Plan: In the case of a canceled day due to rain, Friday will be used as a makeup day.
Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNTS
If you have a group of 4 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $25 discount. If you have a group of 8 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $45 discount. Discounts are not available for camps priced at $250 or less. Please fill out the Team Discount - Field Hockey form and we will create a unique discount code for your group.
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

Coach Amber and her staff were the highlights of this camp, the heart, and soul! These ladies are energetic, engaging, inspiring, and efficient! Even with the 90+ heat, they kept the players interested and motivated.

My daughter was able to learn new skills that she is now using at practice and during games. The only thing I would suggest is that the camp be 5 days instead of four. It was an amazing camp with amazing instructors and coaches.
