Amy Hildebrandt enters her third season at Seattle Pacific having joined Coach Andrew Derrick’s staff February of 2017.

This year she adds the title of Intramurals Coordinator to her duties as she will oversee athletic competition opportunities four the entire campus .

Amy was a four year student athlete at Pacific Lutheran University from 2001- 2004. She made the varsity squad the spring of her freshman year and was fortunate enough to be part of the squad that raced at the NCAA Division II national championships in Indianapolis, Indiana. Coach Hildebrandt graduated from PLU in 2005 with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration.

Amy returned to Pacific Lutheran to coach for two seasons. In 2008, she headed to Springfield College in Springfield, Mass. to pursue her Master’s degree in sports psychology eventually switching to clinical exercise physiology.

While at Springfield, she coached the club rowing team for two years and rowed at Pioneer Valley Riverfront Club. She left Springfield after three years to head back to Seattle joining the Lake Washington Rowing Club in 2012. She coached Learn to Row and helped start the Mixed Masters team.

Amy went back to school in 2014 and received her Master’s degree in exercise physiology from California University of Pennsylvania. During her studies, she also became a certified personal trainer.

Amy continues to enjoy her role coaching, rowing and competing at LWRC in addition to her duties at Seattle Pacific.
