Andrew Towne
Camp Director
Andrew Towne is in his 7th year as head coach of the Hillsdale College track & field/cross country programs. During this time, he has lead the women to 5 NCAA podium finishes and the 2015-16 Div II Program-of-the-Year award.
Towne’s Chargers have won 13 individual NCAA championships (including titles from Olympic Trials competitors Emily Oren, Maurice Jones, and Amanda (Putt) Eccleston). The Chargers have also accumulated 64 All-American honors throughout his tenure as head coach.
Prior to his return to Hillsdale College in 2011, he was the sprints/hurdles coach at Miami University in Oxford, OH. While there, he coached several MAC Conference champions, school record holders, and All-MAC Conference athletes.
Towne is a 2004 graduate of Hillsdale College where he competed for the Chargers in the short sprints and javelin.
