Anja Smith is a passionate and determined former collegiate athlete, she played for six years. Augsburg University is where she truly found her stride. There, she earned MIAC Sixth Player of the Year honors and set a school record with 39 points in a single game, as well as consecutive MIAC Honor achievements. Since 2017, she has transitioned into coaching.
From working at Nike camps under the mentorship of Lou Chapman to leading three youth teams as a head coach, her mission is to inspire the next generation of athletes to push past their limits, embrace resilience, and find strength within themselves both on and off the court. Every challenge is an opportunity, and through her experiences, she learned that perseverance, passion, and a positive mindset can transform obstacles into stepping stones toward success
