Anthony Gonzalez

Anthony Gonzalez enters his first year as the men’s basketball associate head coach at Las Positas College. Gonzalez brings high level of player development and coaching experience to the program; he joins Las Positas after being the Assistant Coach at Prolific Prep where he coached 7 seniors who went on to play Division 1 basketball, 2 McDonalds All-Americans, as well as top NBA Draft prospect Jalen Green.

In the offseason he trains high school, college and professional players and is also a Co-Director with AAU program, Lakeshow.

In the 2019-20 season, Prolific Prep finished the season 31-3, won the Grind Session National Championship, received an invitation to the Geico High School Nationals, defeated high level programs including; La Lumiere (ESPN #7), Lancaster (ESPN #18) and Huntington Prep, while being ranked #10 high school program in the country according to ESPN.​

Gonzalez played collegiate basketball at San Diego Christian College, where he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication. Gonzalez went on to play at the University of Nottingham (England, UK), and completed his Master's Degree in Educational Leadership & Management while competing on the men's basketball team in the BUCS and NBL second division.
