Ariella Rosenthal - Camp Coach

Ariella comes to the Nike Basketball Camp at San Domenico School with six summers of coaching experience working with campers, between 7-16 years old, at a sleepaway camp on the East coast. Prior to coaching, she played professionally overseas in Israel for two seasons in their top tier women’s league

She is currently serving as a teacher's assistant for the first-grade class at Marin Primary and Middle School.

Since starting as a counselor at Camp Lenox back in 2014 she has served as a group leader, assistant athletic director, girls basketball director, and administrator. She ran daily training sessions for co-ed and same-sex groups and individual training sessions. She also acted as both an assistant and a head coach during intercamp tournaments throughout the summer.

She went to Vassar College where she studied psychology and played four years of NCAA Division III basketball. She ended her college career with accolades which include: co-rookie of the year, ECAC DIII all-league third team, D3 hoops all-east third team, all Liberty League first team for two seasons, and all Liberty League second team for one season. She was a three-year captain and a 1,000+ point scorer. She graduated in 2018.

Ariella Rosenthal grew up in Marin County where she attended Redwood High School. At Redwood, she played four years of varsity basketball and lacrosse and was a two-year captain for both teams. As a sophomore and junior, she was selected second team and first team all-league, respectively. In 2014, as a senior, Ariella was awarded Marin County Athletic League’s girls basketball player of the year, the Marin Athletic Foundation’s Eva and Mario Ghilotti Outstanding Student Athlete award for Redwood, and was also awarded All-Marin Girls Basketball Player of the Year by the Marin IJ.
