Assistant Coach
Ben Zook
Ben Zook has diverse coaching resume across the Sacramento area. With over 20 years of coaching experience across multiple sports and levels, Ben began working with Nike Basketball Camps in 2010. He specializes in helping empower athletes to reach their full potential both on and off the field of competition.
With Jesuit High School, Ben served as a head coach or assistant across all 3 levels (Varsity, JV, Freshmen).
At West Campus High School, Ben was named United Soccer Coaches State Coach of the Year, while winning back-to-back CIF SJS D4 Championships, and a NorCal Regional Championship.
Ben has coached in 10 CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Championships (winning 5).
Prior to Jesuit and West Campus, Ben served as a middle school basketball and soccer coach in the Sacramento area.
Ben attended California State University, Sacramento and graduated with his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Child Development, and later earning his teaching credential. Upon leaving Sac State, Ben has been a teacher in Northern California for over a decade.
His coaching philosophy is that every day is an opportunity to test yourself against yourself. The more passionate and detailed you are as a member of a team, the better your chance of individual and team success.
