Bernat Ciurana is a highly accomplished player-development coach and methodology specialist, bringing extensive experience from the Ekkono system and the Catalan football ecosystem. Originally from Spain, Bernat will travel to the United States this summer to lead Nike Soccer Camps in partnership with Ekkono Futbol USA, delivering a world-class training experience rooted in intelligent, modern player development.

Originally from Spain, Bernat will travel to the United States this summer to lead Nike Soccer Camps in partnership with Ekkono Futbol USA, delivering a world-class training experience rooted in intelligent, modern player development.
Bernat has built a strong career implementing the Ekkono Method, working closely with individual players through advisory programs, producing detailed game analysis reports, and supporting the Ekkono Engine in Barcelona. His coaching approach focuses on improving decision-making, tactical understanding, and technical execution, key pillars of the Ekkono and FC Barcelona development philosophy.
Professionally, Bernat currently serves as the Director of the Methodology Department at Nara Club (Japan), where he leads player development structures and coaching education. Prior to this, he held the same role with Ekkono Osaka Academy, further strengthening one of the most respected development frameworks in Asia. Earlier in his career, Bernat spent several years as Head Coach at Sant Cugat FC, a Catalan FA club, where he contributed to developing players within one of the most competitive youth systems in world football.
Bernat holds a degree in Sports Science from the Universitat de Barcelona and a UEFA B coaching license. A native speaker of Catalan and Spanish, with working proficiency in English and Japanese, Bernat brings a global perspective and the ability to connect with players from diverse backgrounds.
With international experience across Europe and Asia, and a deep understanding of elite development methodology, Bernat is passionate about helping young athletes grow into more intelligent, confident, and complete footballers.
