Brandon Wilkins is entering his second season as Assistant Coach with the Denver Pioneers in 2019-20.

Wilkins made his mark in his debut season in 2018-19, helping guide a young Denver team to its first Summit League Championship and NCAA Regional appearance since 2014. The first-year assistant also played a key role in the development of freshman Cal McCoy, who earned first-team All-Summit League honors, Newcomer of the Year and was named Championship MVP at the league championship in Newton, Kan.

Wilkins came from Abilene Christian, where he has been a member of the coaching staff since 2016. While with the Wildcats, he was instrumental in recruiting efforts nationwide and player development.

He helped coach Garrett Glanton and Alex Clouse to All-Southland Conference awards. He also helped the team capture the 2018 Colin Montgomerie team championship. In the 2017-2018 season, the Wildcats posted seven par-or-better team rounds.

Wilkins has also had significant caddy experience on the Web.com tour, APT, and different mini-tours. He most notably caddied for Brax McCarthy in his 2017 Texas State Open win.

The former Wildcat played two years for Hall of Fame coach Vince Clark at McLennan Community College before transferring to ACU. He earned Southland Conference Commissioner Honor Roll honors as a junior and senior. His career-best finish came at the UTRGV Bronc Invitational where he finish tied for 12th.
