NIchols started as a swimmer, competing at the elite level for more than ten years. Upon graduation from Colgate University he made the transition from swimming to triathlons, and more recently, he
NIchols started as a swimmer, competing at the elite level for more than ten years. Upon graduation from Colgate University he made the transition from swimming to triathlons, and more recently, he spent the last four years competing as a professional triathlete on behalf of the United States on the international circuit.
Today he teaches mathematics at Kimball Union Academy and serves as the head coach to their Cross Country and Track programs. He loves living at KUA, particularly for the opportunity to run (and ski) the incredible trail network that we’ll all be running at camp this summer
