Cameron Greenwood is originally from Salt Lake City, Utah. His passion for tennis started during his time at the Jose Higueras Tennis Academy in Scottsdale, Arizona. While in Utah, Cameron played juniors for the Intermountain section, where he finished #1 in singles & doubles in Boys 18 & under. As a top 100 nationally ranked USTA junior, Cameron also competed in ITF hard, clay & grass court tournaments. Cameron's passion is teaching juniors, adults and growing the game of tennis. Cameron began his Dallas tennis teaching career by teaching on the Park Cities courts and eventually moving to JCC, where he worked under his mentor TJ Tisdale. With continued success, Cameron moved to TBarM and became the Director of Orange/Green Competitive and specializing in Adult Clinicsspecializing in Adult Clinics. Fun fact - Cameron met his wife at the US Open in 2009.
Coach Cameron brings passion and experience to lead our 10 & under junior tennis program. His goal will be to create a positive and welcoming environment for all ages and abilities. Learning about the foundation of tennis will allow players to enjoy tennis and develop positive character-building skills on and off the court. Educating parents and students on rules, etiquette, and tennis history will create a positive parent/player/coach relationship. Cameron looks forward to building a solid partnership with USTA National and Dallas Tennis Association to provide continued success for our Net Generation Tennis Stars.
