Carolyn Keber
Camp Director

Carolyn Keber grew up in Bethesda, Maryland, one of the hotbeds of lacrosse and was a 4-year varsity midfielder at The Holton-Arms School. In her senior year, she was recognized as a High School All-American, Washington Post’s All-Met Team, and selected to play in the John’s Hopkins North/South game. Following high-school, she went on to play Division I at Dartmouth College as an attack player, which included a run to the NCAA quarterfinals.
Carolyn’s coaching career has spanned over twenty-five years and a multitude of levels – ranging from 10u girls to the Welsh National Team, whom she coached from 2015-2019, while living in England. Her passion was recognized in 2008 with her induction into The Holton-Arms School Athletic Hall of Fame for excellence in and contribution to girls’ sports.
Carolyn most recently coached the girls Varsity lacrosse team at The Out-of-Door Academy from 2019 -2024 leading the team to the District Championship in 2023. She also coaches for True Lacrosse, where she leads the HS Elite team who compete at national tournaments and prepares her players to take the next step of playing in college. Her former players have played (or currently play) at all levels in college - DI, DII, DIII, NAIA and Club. She founded Empowered Lacrosse, a girls youth lacrosse organization, in 2021 to create more opportunities for girls and young women to play lacrosse. She currently teaches math at the Community Day School in Sarasota, FL.
