Community Leader
Carrie Bridges has volunteered her time at South Bowie Boys and Girls Club since 2007 and she has been a member of the City of Bowie's Community Recreation Committee since 2016; its Chair since 2017. Her dedication is above reproach and her commitment to children is evident in the many years she has volunteered at SBBGC and in the City of Bowie. She is excited to collaborate with former WNBA player Sonia Chase in this new venture for South Bowie Boys and Girls Club.
She is a mother, community leader, and educator in Prince George's County, Maryland. She received her undergraduate degree in English Literature from North Carolina Central University and her Masters in Education from Walden University.
