Cassidy Schutz

Cassidy was born and raised in Northern California, where she grew up playing soccer, golf and basketball. Cassidy loves all things athletics; however, her passion has always been basketball. After high school Cassidy moved to McMinnville, Oregon, where she attended Linfield University.
She was a 4 year player for the Linfield Women’s Basketball team and earned a Bachelor of Science in Education. Cassidy was the starting point guard her junior and senior year and a team captain. After graduating from Linfield in 2020, Cassidy discovered a new passion for coaching. She stayed on as an assistant coach at Linfield University for two seasons under Casey Bunn-Wilson before deciding to make the move to Bend in 2022. Since moving to Bend, Cassidy has been coaching and training at BOSS Basketball Performance and Mountain View High School.
