Chase Bowen

Coach Chase Bowen joined the Mesa College baseball staff in the fall of 2025 and currently serves as the Assistant Pitching and Bullpen Coach. He brings a unique blend of competitive playing experience, player-development knowledge, and military leadership to the Olympians’ pitching staff.

Before arriving at Mesa, Bowen spent six years in the United States Navy, where he developed the discipline, communication skills, and leadership qualities that shape his coaching style today. He also gained coaching experience with the San Diego Bombers, working with pitchers across multiple collegiate levels.

During his playing career at Orange County Community College, Bowen served as the team’s closer as a freshman. Although injuries ultimately ended his playing career and led him to military service, he continued to pursue his passion for the game through coaching.

Bowen has called San Diego home for the past decade. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Sports and Exercise Science from Point Loma Nazarene University, as well as an associate degree in Business Management from National University.

Coach Bowen, his wife, a baseball loving son reside in Santee, California.
