Chelsea Storch ’17 enters her fourth season as an Assistant Coach for the Elmira College softball team during the 2024-25 academic year.
Storch returns to her alma mater as a coach after playing softball for the Soaring Eagles. The Elmira Heights, New York, native, was a three-year member of the softball program and one of just four Soaring Eagles to start all 23 games during her final collegiate season.
She played in 66 games for the Purple & Gold from 2015-17 and finished with a .234 career batting average to go along with 37 hits, five doubles, and 21 runs batted in.
Storch ranked in a tie for fifth place in the Empire 8 in sacrifice bunts (8) and in a tie for seventh in sacrifice flies (2) following the conclusion of the 2017 season. She posted a .283 batting average to go along with 15 hits, 10 RBIs, eight runs and two stolen bases in 2016.
Storch graduated from Elmira in the spring of 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
