Chon Clayton

Chon Clayton is a Volunteer Assistant Coach at Warner Pacific University.

Chon Clayton is currently a Volunteer Assistant Coach at Warner Pacific University (NAIA) Portland Oregon. Previous, Clayton was an Assistant Coach at Saint Martin University (NCAA DII).

Clayton brings 25 years of coaching experience, at the high school and club volleyball level. He has been involved with the USA Volleyball High Performance program, in the Puget Sound Region and with USAV, and is certified CAP II. Along with club season, he is also involved with coaching beach volleyball and working volleyball camps in the summer.

At the high school level, he has been successful to lead Neah Bay HS to their first League and District championship, and 7th place at the 1B Washington State Championships in 2007. Prior to coming to Saint Martin's, he was part of the Ridgefield HS volleyball program, which saw success with back to back 2A State Championships in 2018-2019.
