Chris Dion
Camp Director
Chris Dion brings a rich background in athletics, having played competitive basketball through high school and college. He went on to coach basketball at both youth and collegiate levels and remains active as a certified basketball referee in Central Massachusetts leagues.
Chris began playing pickleball six years ago and, like Dan, is PPR and DUPR certified and fully insured to teach. He combines his coaching experience with a deep passion for pickleball, focusing on skill development and tactical awareness from basic to advanced levels. His signature shot is the “strategic lob.”
Chris has medaled in nearly every 4.5+/5.0 tournament he and Dan have competed in. Together, they co-founded Tactical Pickleball, offering a dynamic coaching experience tailored for individuals and teams. Their collaborative, fun-focused approach has led to many success stories among intermediate and advanced players. Chris and Dan are also proud Gearbox-sponsored players.
