Chris Mazoue, MD

Dr. Chris Mazoue is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, arthroscopic surgery and the treatment of complex shoulder, elbow and knee injuries at Prisma Health Orthopedics. He serves as department chair and is a clinical associate professor of orthopedic surgery with the University of South Carolina School of Medicine.
Dr. Mazoue completed a fellowship in sports medicine at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Alabama, under the guidance of renowned orthopedic surgeons James Andrews, MD, and William Clancy, MD. He has served as team physician for South Carolina State University, where he was elected into the South Carolina State Athletic Hall of Fame for his service to the university. He has been a team physician for the University of South Carolina Gamecocks for over fifteen years and is a consultant for Coastal Carolina University. He also serves as chairman
