Chris Ortiz

Chris serves as camp director for Nike Jr. Golf Camps at Scholl Canyon Golf Course. He has played and worked in the golf industry for over 30 years including five years instructing Nike Camps.

Chris has played in multiple City Championships including the Los Angeles and Pasadena City Championships and qualified for the final stage of the Los Angeles City Match Play Championship. He is also the Head JV Basketball coach at Burbank High School. “Coach” Christopher recently qualified to begin the PGA Program and is being mentored by Scholl Canyon Head Golf Professional, Wade Morris.

Along with the other Nike Golf Camp staff members, Christopher’s main goal is provide a comfortable and enjoyable environment while improving the level of golf for each individual camper, teaching positive sportsmanship, and helping campers learn as much as possible about the rules and fundamentals of golf.
