Coach Chuck Love is no rookie when it comes to the basketball world. Coach Love has had the opportunity to travel the world and seen some of the best competition, as he coached Division I basketball on the mens and women’s side for over 15 years! Since then, Coach Love started his own mentoring and development programs and has spent most of his time developing kids around Nebraska, Missouri, and Kansas.

For example, Coach Love's son, Chuck Love III, has been in the program since the beginning and has grown to be a Top 60 recruit in the country according to ESPN/ 24/7 SPORTS. Chuck Love III has recently received offers from Oklahoma, Oregon, Mizzou, Illinois, Xavier, West Virginia and he’s hearing from Duke, Kentucky, Michigan State and among other top division 1 schools around the country, proving that the program works and can take you to the next level. Another player that coach has helped develop was Nebraska Men’s Basketball signee Braden Frager. Braden Frager came to Coach Love at a young age to develop his mindset and physical skills.

Love, Associate Head Women’s Basketball Coach at The University of Nebraska (2016-2022) helped produce the nation’s top turnaround with 14 more wins than previous season. The Huskers qualified for the NCAA tournament twice with Love. Coach Love assisted in recruiting a TOP 25 RECRUITING class by ESPN. Coach Love has recruited, developed, and helped former players move on to play professionally (WNBA, NBA, OVERSEAS). Love took PLAYER DEVELOPMENT at each University as one of his roles. As a staff, we know besides recruiting, scheduling games, player development is the key to long term success.

Love spent 4 seasons at University of South Dakota (2012-2016), helping the Coyotes to 96 victories, a trio of Summit League Titles, and 4 Postseason appearances.

Prior to South Dakota, Love was an Assistant Coach at Rogers State University. Rogers State was a powerhouse. RSU had 7 Division I transfers, and they had a historic season making it to The Elite 8. Love was responsible for recruiting and player development.

Coach Love also spent time at Wayland Baptist University and Northwestern Oklahoma State University where he launched his coaching career in 2008. Love graduated from Northwestern Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sports Science with a minor in Business. Coach Love is married to Charmaine Love and they have 4 beautiful children Alayzia, Chuck, Cameron, and Camri.
