Kevin Hopp

Kevin Hopp has been coaching athletes in grades 7-12 for 26 years. He has coached boys cross country at Stevens Point High School since 2003. During that time, his teams have won eight Wisconsin State Cross Country titles and been runner up five times. His 2019, 2022 and 2023 teams qualified for the NXN race in Portland. Coach Hopp has been named the Wisconsin Cross Country Coaches Association Coach of the Year seven times, the USTFCCCA Wisconsin Coach of the Year twice and the NFHS National Cross Country Coach of the Year for 2023-24. Coach Hopp has been running since the age of nine and continues to enjoy coaching, running and sharing his passion with others.
