Pat Leahy

Coach Pat Leahy has been the boys distance track coach at Stevens Point Area Senior High School since 1994 and the girls Cross Country assistant coach since 2010. Leahy has coached state track individual champions in the 800, 1600, and 3200 as well as multiple medal winners in those events plus the 3200 relay during his tenure. Leahy was Chris Solinsky's event coach in high school and was a guiding influence in Solinksy's development into a world-class runner. Coach Leahy has been an active runner, biker and skier since the 80’s and has skied the American Birkibeiner and Kortelopet multiple times.
