DAN LANGE
Dan Lange has been coaching the throwing events at the NCAA and world class level for over 35 years.
During this time his resume includes an Olympic Champion, 6 US Champions, 10 NCAA Champions, 75+ All Americans, and 35+ Conference Champions, which includes athletes who have competed across 6 Olympics and 10 World Championships.
Some of the more notable athletes Dan has coached include:
● Balazs Kiss (Hammer):1996 Hammer Olympic Champion, Hungarian National Record Holder, Collegiate Record Holder, and 4x NCAA Champion.
● Adam Setliff (Discus):2x Olympian and 3x US Champion.
● Bent Johansson: NCAA Champion and World Championship Team Member.
● Conor McCullough (Hammer 35lb): Olympian, 3x US Champion, and NCAA Champion.
● Noah Bryant (Shot Put): NCAA Champion and World Championship Team Member.
● Eva Orban (Hammer): 4x Olympian, Hungarian Champion, and NCAA Champion.
● Inga Stasiulionyte (Javelin): Olympian and NCAA Champion.
● Lisa Misapeka (Hammer): Olympian and American Samoan Nation Record Holder.
● Julianna Tudja (Hammer): Olympian.
● Joy McArthur (Hammer) Japanese National Champion and Japanese National Record Holder.
After 33 years serving as the throwing coach at USC, Dan is currently a volunteer coach at Cal State University Northridge.
At CSUN, Dan is presently coaching Trey Knight (PR:76.99) and Japanese Record Holder Joy McArthur (PR:70.51) in the hammer throw.
