Emma Fleming – (Syracuse University – The Lawrenceville School) – Emma came to Lawrenceville as a HS Junior in 2021 and made an immediate impact on our team. As a catcher she is a brilliant handler of pitchers and she knows the game as well as any player I have ever worked with. Having her on our team was like having an extra coach on the field. She finished her Lawrenceville career with a .422 batting average and hit 7 home runs along the way.
In our 10-8 victory at Neshaminy HS in 2021, Emma hit the first pitch of the game over the centerfield fence delivering a message that a Prep School team from New Jersey could be competitive with a legendary Bucks County softball program. That year Emma was named 2 nd team All-Area by the Trentonian. She was first team All-MAPL for two seasons and she won a Trenton Softball Hall of Fame scholarship in her senior year. Although a primary catcher, Emma has experience at every single position on the field. At Syracuse Emma is the president and a player/coach on the Syracuse Club team. She is currently earning her degree in public relations and was a Communications and Media Intern for the Little League World Series last summer. While in New York, Emma does individual training sessions and helps within the CNY Monsters organization. This is Emma’s 3rd summer as a Nike Softball Camp instructor.
