Danny Sales
Assistant Coach | Pitching Coach
Sales enters his 2nd season with the RedHawks, and first as Pitching Coach. He previously served as Director of Baseball Operations and Pitching Development.
Prior to Seattle U he coached at the Thurston High School from 2009-2013, then served as Head Coach at South Eugene High School from 2014-2019 and was named SWC Coach of the year in 2016, 2017, and 2019. After South Eugene he was a part time assistant at Lane CC from 2020-2021. In 2021-2022 he was Head Coach at Mt Hood CC leading the Saints to a 38-17 campaign in 2022 and an appearance in the NWAC championship game.
Sales started his playing career at Arizona Western College in 2004 before transferring to Mt Hood CC. In 2009 after enrolling at Cal State Bakersfield Sales signed with the Bay Area Toros in Texas City, Texas of the Continental Baseball League, but was released after camp and began coaching and finishing school.
Sales also coached Medford Rogues of the Golden West Baseball League in 2017-2018, as well as the Bend Elks of the West Coast League for 4 seasons from 2021-2024.
Sales is originally from Springfield, Oregon and resides in Edmonds, Washington with his wife Alexis.
